  1. you guys have got it... this is what has happened! Unfortunately this took out the Aux belt which mean no water pump, which means over heated and now means I'm stripping the engine to replace the head gasket!
  2. nope there are two belt sizes. So the belt shredded on mine and I thought the AC was as fault cause every time i turned the AC on it would make a noise. The only spare belt i had available was an AC delete so put that on s I thought the AC was the issue anyway. Look at the crank pulley carefully... I have attached a picture of a new one. can you see the difference yet?
  3. yeah it failed to upload, doh. uploaded now though!
  4. So my car is currently on stands and the engine is being taken to bits. Finally found the culprit today! It wasn't the aircon like I first thought. Can you see the problem? Oh and its not the oil leak... and to those that already know please don't spoil it. No one has managed to work it out so far. I want to see if Actual Celica lovers can spot it.
  5. um you did use a proper cable didnt you? you didnt just put 12V directly into the camera which runs on 5V... This is the kit i got https://www.amazon.co.uk/INRIGOROUS-Inverter-Converter-Regulator-Camcorder/dp/B073F5XBN8/ref=asc_df_B073F5XBN8/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310679368228&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=18047615612613404423&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045576&hvtargid=pla-564840937421&psc=1 The black box in the middle converts 12v to 5. This particular kit works up to 24v i believe
  6. Adam's has been de charged and is sat NA on the drive now he has the rex. he sold the kit to make some money as he was struggling. Lucy @LucyLou and James are both still charged as far as I know and so is Jon. Simon @storm also has a charged Celica again.
  7. I got a 3d printer to be able to make stuff for my car but not actually done that yet, Been upgrading the printer slowly so it will print with other materials which are suitable for the engine bay etc. If anyone has ideas of stuff that can be made give me a shout. I can make the parcel shelf brackets as already mentioned as i have the stl files for them.
  8. dry warm place with the connections sealed shut. Could always vacuum seal them so no air or water can get in.
  9. If I get time I may create a theme of the old colours. wont be till the rest of my list is done though
  10. CCTV is the answer, That way you can tuen ound and give them an invoice to repair it along with CCTV evidence they caused it.

  12. interesting question, been looking into it and it does not look like we can do this. However what you can do is click file > Print > change printer to 'save as pdf" and then save. You will have to do this for each page though.
  13. @Master flex can you set a new challenge please, something a little easier. This thread seems to be dying a bit. To All: I purpose if after 2 weeks the challenge has not be completed the a new one will be set. just keeps the thread moving and gives a time limit which increases the difficulty.
  14. Got myself an Auto probe. Will be useful for fault finding
  15. yes several times and there is no need to be so rude
  16. taking the dash out isnt a hard job its just time and space consuming. If I was in your shoes I would just take the dash out. makes life simple.
  17. With something like that I wouldn't go cheap, especially if they are anything like the o2 sensors.
  18. Depends on the bearing but cheap ones tend to go every 60k or so in my experience.
  19. Fitted new caliper at the weekend and gave her a nice bath. Then filled her with 99 octane fuel ready for the meet tomorrow
  20. Agreed, if after 6 weeks the challenge has not been completed then I would assume it's too hard and to set a new challenge. Just stops the thread dying and noone participating
  21. Come on everyone get some photos submitted!!! We need lots more or this calendar will be a bit bare!
  22. Nope never used one but looks decent enough. May get one and try it out. Worse case I just stick the original bolt back in
