  1. taking the dash out isnt a hard job its just time and space consuming. If I was in your shoes I would just take the dash out. makes life simple.
  2. Depends on the bearing but cheap ones tend to go every 60k or so in my experience.
  3. Fitted new caliper at the weekend and gave her a nice bath. Then filled her with 99 octane fuel ready for the meet tomorrow
  4. Agreed, if after 6 weeks the challenge has not been completed then I would assume it's too hard and to set a new challenge. Just stops the thread dying and noone participating
  5. Nope never used one but looks decent enough. May get one and try it out. Worse case I just stick the original bolt back in
  6. expect about 3-4 for a good job. but make sure you check out some of their work first
  7. I may have just forked out for a nice shiny new exhaust at infinity..... If you wanna see pics then keep an eye out on my build thread
  8. haha I just got vision of you being the guy in antman saying about the undercarrriage wash There is a lot of good suggestions and ideas. Im keen to see if there is anything else people could or would add?
  9. ohhhh that sounds fun.... Never knew this would ever be an issue. Good to know. Thanks
  10. Agreed, All it would do it weaken the clutch, I have never heard or seen that happen so I would say its really unlikely to happen.
  11. check your nuts... make sure your wheel nuts are torqued up to spec, wheels are balanced, tracked and tires at correct pressure
  12. why red and yellow? hybrid cars have more precious metals in due to they having to abide by strict emission standards, therefore they are the ones the thief's will target. to be honest if they can get under mine and take the cat i will take my hat off to them. You need a low profile jack and i believe I have a shield over it
  13. Well Friday I changed my braided lines as one had split and bled the brakes with help from @taylorad89 and today I refitted the front lip with the new tie rod bars to stop it getting droopy.
  14. No worries Mook sending me a new set! Thanks for pointing it out. I was so excited to put on my club stickers I had completely missed that
  15. Finally fitted my stickers from @mook at Skewer. Loving them Even put the skewer sticker on the back.

haha yeah its ok. I was exhausted that day so was quite quiet. Hopefully see you at another meet

  18. 20 min job bud. I spliced into the cig lighter and ran cable behind dash, up the a Piller and above the roof lining. No need to drill any holes. The only tools you need are for splicing into the wiring.
  19. Google / search is your friend! BTW I just realised you have a gen 6. I thought you were refering to a gen 7. Thats my fault for not reading it properly. You would probably got a better answer if you posted in the gen 6 section.
  20. @taylorad89 has these on both his celica and mr2 https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B078W87N6M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They are pretty good but have gone up in price since I got him his
  21. One pre car and one post cat. They are different sensors if I remember correctly. Only get denso sensors. Don’t ever get cheat ones or universal. Save the money of having to keep changing them and get the decent sensor to begin with.
  22. @taylorad89 just sent me this! This is how not to do it. That’s an mr2 owner!
