  1. is it a g7 wheel - if so then the detonator should be standard - you can have one if you can pick it up
  2. Use a detonator from another air bag instead - just unbolts with them 4 nuts
  3. that link is a 140 one mate, and even on the 140s they are poor quality compared to the original I have a good used one - ill drop you a pm
  4. not the ones im looking for mate but thanks for pics
  5. if its turning over ok but not firing up then that would suggest battery, alternator and starter are ok. I would start with a new set of plugs and air filter, and may as well change the oil whilst your there
  6. Yep have the studs which are standard rather than the nuts (if you do break the stud)
  7. I would try a small and sharp chisel to try and turn it before drilling it, so make a dent in it and then tap it round have used studs if you dont want to go to toyota
  8. . Fk me - that's all I can say
  9. . Blimey mate / what were they? Did you ever get them back?
  10. nice idea but not for me - fixing a problem that doesnt exist
  11. I'm with Chris on this one - the rubber hoses very rarely fail, silicon hoses are too hard and as such don't seem to make as good a seal. Silicon hoses are for looks only imo Let me rephrase that Toyota oem hoses are very good quality - I can't say the same for most European manufacturers
  12. If you can collect soon, I can give you most of the light grey plastics for free - this doesn't include the gear surround / climate control or top box - but can give you dash, glove box etc etc
  13. Ive not seen one without 4ws yet , looks very nice
  14. Useful if anyone else drives your car who doesn't drive it everyday and you leave it parked in gear
  15. A lot of new rads are like this - 1000 miles on the road and it will be a lot worse - Id just fit it
  16. How are the headlights wired up on the 6?
  17. Wiring on the Celica is very good - if it was a french or VAG car then id say it's worth it.

    Happy 11 Anniversary ams!

  19. Think red Celicas are the best - apart from the paint fading
  20. Nope the 5 spokes are good - it's the tsport wheels that are made of cheese. They suit the 4/5 and 6 more than the 7 all day long. If you want to see what they look like on your car - drop me a pm and we can do a trial fit with some
  21. Lensos: Gen7 wheels I have loads of the gen7 wheels for sale, may even sell the lensos - was planning on keeping them for the 4 but who knows when I'll get round to it
  22. Sounds similar to my gen5 - in the end it was the Ecu - but you really need to test everything when it happens. When mine played up there was no power to the coil pack. I would leave it with your fiancé and ask him to check in the following sequence when it plays up Check for spark at the leads Check for spark at the coil pack If no spark at the coil pack - then check for power into the plug at the coil pack Also worth leaving the back seat off so you can check the fuel pump supply and if it's working when the problem occurs. I have a fuel pump, distributor and lots of other bits from my old st183 convertible if you find any are faulty. I have used the Ecu in my other gen5 Where abouts are you?
  23. Every gen7 I have seen does it - you need to leave the tyres on the back for around 15-20,000 miles to see it
