Foogles
Not quite 6 months yet so no drastic changes so far as new tyres, paint for wheels, decals and new stereo have cost me over £400 so far. Limeymk1
Pretty much bang on 2 years now. Cosmetically looking pretty sorry for herself at the moment, mechanically not too bad. There's a long list of things that could be done to make her more presentable but I wonder if it's really worth the time and money.

CheltGirl
I have my lady since march 2000 & my 5 since july 2007! Sidta23 - for one moment I thought you had the Gen 5 in the house next to the radiator - then I looked again! Pretty much bang on 2 years now. Cosmetically looking pretty sorry for herself at the moment, mechanically not too bad. There's a long list of things that could be done to make her more presentable but I wonder if it's really worth the time and money. Some things you do for love - weigh up to consider! I think Old Red Celica might be the winner on the posts so far in terms of who has had theirs the longest - Ethel since 1999, so approx 15 yrs. Hopefully more posts to come (incl mine). Sherv
My gen4 is my first Celica, had a gen5 briefly and a JDM 205 GT4 for a while inbetween, but the gen4 has always been numero unoBought in 2009 for £190 with a little tax and MOT And 2014,everything has been pretty much changed/modified since then.Engine, suspension, brakes exhaust, body panels, paint, yada yada..Coilovers fitted since this last pic 5 years and counting, certainly not as long as some! no intention of ever getting rid though as I love driving it so much Times gone quick actually.....
