  1. Happy 10 Anniversary Limeymk1!

  2. My old ST182 took out a deer (40 mph), hardly any damage to the car. That's what I was told anyway, as I was on holiday and my friend had borrowed it. It was all fixed up when I got home, just needed a replacement light spray nozzle.
  3. A pirate fish to decorate my now mostly debadged 202.
  4. Happy 9 Anniversary Limeymk1!

  5. This is what the back end looks like, I reckon a 1mm steel plate could be made up with tabs for the H4 and screw it on in place of the big black backing.
  6. Sounds right to me. I only have one outer lamp, it's got all it's tags on it but has the electric height adjustment on it rather than a manual one. Should be usable. Yours if you want it. The lamp housings can be removed as they're held on by 6 screws so the next challenge (should you choose to accept it) is making up the housing for the H4 bulb so it can fit into the headlight unit. They're usually held in with a spring clip of some description.
  7. Will have a look tonight and see what's in stock. I think I have a couple with broken tabs in the garage.
  8. The H4 is a dip & main in one, so I'd look at replacing the stock HB4 with the H4 so it fits into the same hole. Adding extra bulbs to the outer headlights will be nigh on impossible to align so they give you a decent beam. If you want some spare outers to faf with I might have some. However for all the faffage involved in getting an H4 to fit, it would probably be easier to either fit aftermarket driving lights somewhere else on the front and loose both your main beams or route the inlet somewhere else (hole cut in one of the wings or bonnet).
  9. Get a spare set of outers and modify them to take an H4 bulb, then it's just a case of re wiring to an H4 connector which you can pilfer from any scrappy for nowt.
  10. They do have this one in the vulture section. http://www.upickit.co.uk/breakers/details/Toyota-Celica-1999-To-2006-3-Door-Coupe/7384
  11. I might be going back on Friday afternoon or Saturday if it's not pissing down. http://www.upickit.co.uk/breakers/details/Toyota-Celica-1999-To-2006-3-Door-Coupe/7384 Anyone want owt?
  12. At Silverlake breakers yard near Southampton today, if anyone is in the market for one they usually let stuff go from the u pick it section at a good price.
  13. Went for a look today and the paintwork is shockingly bad and the door had a few dinks and scratches, so no good really.
  14. There's a Black gen 6 being broken near me, I could pop in and see if it's any cop if you like. Where are you located, I can never remember. http://www.upickit.co.uk/breakers/details/Toyota-Celica-1994-To-1999-GT-3-Door-Coupe/6919
  15. http://www.powerspeed.co.uk/ aka Fast Road Conversions, absolutely awesome bunch. They're in Ashford so a little way from you but not too bad. I took my MR2 to them from Gosport on a transporter.
  16. Toyota manual for the gen 6 says open up the shoes until the wheel locks then back it off 8 notches.
  17. I'd be interested to see how you guys have mounted your CB, I'm currently scratching my head as to where to put mine in the gen 6. Lol
  18. Definitely B. replaced the entire front suspension trying to chase a niggle.
  19. Funnily enough: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=engine+cleaning+with+water
  20. Celica is 5x100, so unfortunately not.
  21. If you want to clean the engine internals just run some nitrous through it a few times, makes it lovely and sparkly in there.
  22. I don't like reusing them if I can avoid it so have a big box of various sized copper washers in the garage.
  23. Thing usually settle down which would make the camber more negative. Got a piccy? Does the car have lowering springs on it? Other than Princy's suggestion, you didn't get GT4 rear shocks by mistake did you? They are a fair bit shorter than ST202 rears.
  24. I'd use a brass brush for this technique as a steel brush may score an aluminium rocker cover, unless you use a very light touch.
  25. Definitely fit one and as close to the +ve as possible, if the wire gets broken and shorts to the body work the car will end up toast. 150 Amp sounds about right, I had a 100 Amp one on my V6 and it popped it when I tried to start it.
