All the generations of Celica (up to 6) were built in coupe and liftback versions. Sadly the gen 4, 5 & 6 coupes weren't sold in the UK, which is a shame as they look loads better!

OK, I couldn't find them in any of the brochures but I've just googled the part number and they're gen 7 wheels.

There is absolutely nothing bodged on my Celica...but back in the 70s I did some dreadful things An old Vauxhall Victor with terminal rust on an inner wing by the bonnet hinge. When it fell apart and the corner of the bonnet started flapping I reinforced the inner wing with some pine offcuts I found in the shed.

It's nothing serious, mine has been doing it since 2003 and it still runs fine. I've got a '98 GT and every year about this time for about 30 secs to a minute after starting the tickover hunts up and down. It's only from cold and stops as the engine warms up. I've always assumed it was to do with temperature and something in the idle control sticking but it's never bugged me enough to try and fix it.

I've had my '83 for 17 years and my '98 for just 12 years so far. -
Just to make it clear, that's not my car. It's some randon pics I found on the web about 10 years ago, I think it's French. Don't like the look myself but I guess masking and spraying would give the best result.
