You're right , that particular spot is not far from home Althou i did have a nice little ride around , about 25 - 30 miles. I try and do that at least once a month throughout winter , just to keep everything turning.
_Chris_ Posted 15 December 2024 Report Posted 15 December 2024 Can't beat a nice sunset picture. I try and stay off main roads in winter in any cars I care about. They tend not to salt the smaller roads much nowadays.
77 Liftback Posted 15 December 2024 Report Posted 15 December 2024 Me too , i'm very choosy when i take it out during winter months This was the first day in the past 5 or 6 weekends when the roads were dry, and there hasnt been any salt down in my area so far this winter. Althou the road in the pic was a bit damp/wet , it is a small dead end layby , the road i pulled off was nice and dry
CheltGirl Posted 30 December 2024 Report Posted 30 December 2024 I wonder if we will get some nice snow shots of Celicas this winter?
CheltGirl Posted 30 December 2024 Report Posted 30 December 2024 I love taking mine in the snow . Fresh, unadulterated snow..... 1 1
Sherv Posted 31 December 2024 Report Posted 31 December 2024 I do remember taking my first ST205 out in heavy snow ,it was darn good fun.Shouldn't gloat at others misfortune but at the time there was something more than a little satisfying taking a 20 + year old car out doing easy 4 wheel drifts when there were loads of 'lesser' cars (think new RWD auto BMW's Mercs etc) abandoned everywhere throughout Kent But yeah would make some great photo opportunities!
Sherv Posted 31 December 2024 Report Posted 31 December 2024 Just found this at Caffeine & Machine from 2019 or 2020.Not strictly per this threads rules but as its so nice I thought you might like it Sheila. 5
meirion Posted 11 January Report Posted 11 January I have to confess that I have been seduced by the dark side and have bought a motorcycle in order to recapture my youth . L975 EPB has moved on to a new home, but a home that I know will take even better care of her. I've had fun with the Celica over the last seven years but I've gone back to my first love before I get too old to do it . The last pic of my baby from me. 1 3
CheltGirl Posted 11 January Report Posted 11 January Oh no!! I am sorry to hear this . Shall we still bring our two Celicas round to see you if time allows when in N Wales?

Thank you for the reminder Sherv! That was a great meet at Caffeine & Machine near Stratford. I remember it was a very foggy start to the day, but it cleared up nicely. I have just checked back through Meetings forum, and it was 2019 - hard to believe how time flies! We had 35 club members I think who attended. Here is my photo of the same Here is a link to the thread in Meetings forum, which has some nice photos posted in it. Pics start at the bottom of page 9

Old Red Celica Posted 12 January Report Posted 12 January I hope the famous GT4 has stayed within the club or the new owner joins up. 1

Same bike as I owned 22 years ago. Yamaha Fazer 1000, the one with the R1 engine, so yes, quite stupidly quick mate 1
