Celica photo challenge.

Question

Just a bit of fun, but lets see if this takes off.

The challenge is to post a photo of your Celica with a nominated building or landmark in the frame.

The person who posts the photo then suggests the next building or landmark to be posted - again with a Celica clearly visible.

As long as the building or landmark is not obscure or un-accessible this could prove to be an interesting, long running thread that will take time to develope.

Also it is a chance to show-off your Celica.

So for starters - who will be the first the post a photo of their Celica near the new Spinnacre building in Portsmouth?

That's if I don't get there first - just waiting to get the minor problem of putting the ecu back in the car so I can drive it again!

Glad to hear there'll be a few competitors.

Remember, it's the person who parks closest to the front door....

Got the ecu back in - all systems go!

My sortie this afternoon didn't go quite to plan.

The Suzuki dealership had such a small frontage, no room to get my car on!

On to the Nissan one

Could only get the small sign in over doors to reception..... on to plan C

Went in to Lexus reception, but all the guys were busy with customers, so no salesman in the shot!

Popped next door to Toyota to meet a cousin drying in the sun!

Realised how dirty my car was, so about to wash it before taking to Gloucester Rugby tonight.

Nice! But you don't have to try to park at all the manufacturers I listed!!;)

I'm not sure I should count Lexus seeing as it's part of Toyota... :sofa:

Great work though CheltGirl. You're in the lead so far!!

(and 'grats' on getting the car running again)

Well, just in case you were a bit fussy about dealerships!!

We'll wait and see what else others come up with then.

(The car behaved very well today, after a few hiccups yesterday when the ecu first went back in)

I'm off radar for a bit, so probably won't see any replies now. Will check next w/e !!

PS If it is decided my photo is a win, the next challenge is:

Your Celica nose to nose eye-balling a GT86!

Well it wasn't really my intention to just have 1 person offer up pics, I thought you lot were more on the ball with these challenges!

Fine, CheltGirl for the win, and her challenge is now active.

Greetings from Florence! No Celicas here I'm afraid.

I did wonder if anyone would manage to get some guys out to pose with their car.! I ran out of time to wait for them to be free.
