  1. Took it for its MOT and drove home without any adviseries another year of happy driving ahead.
  2. Happy Birthday scouserchris!

  3. Washed and had a go at the keyed in scratch looks a lot better so happy again. Also replaced my radiator as the bottom had fell out of the last one pretty much, didn't take to long and got hot air now so hopefully got most of the air out, just a small amount I can hear every now and then on throttle at lights.
  4. After giving it a full detail last week spent most of today fuming at it as some little s*#t has keyed my passenger door.
  5. Happy 2 Anniversary scouserchris!

  6. Not what I done but watched a Auris reverse into the front passenger corner and drive off, fuming when it happened but thankfully it isn't to bad. Few hairline cracks I can feel under clear coat and hopefully the rest will be polished out. Not sure it's worth reporting for the extra cost I will end up paying on insurance for someone to do it again as its already high because of location, that's both ends hit in last 3 months.
  7. Spent the day replacing pads & discs from freakparts, look a hell of a lot better and bedding in well. Also changed sparks, air filter and oil so pretty much full service. Was shocked when replacing plugs though as first time I've done them since buying it as only needed new oil so far, took plastic cover off and found the rocker screws all loose so a small amount of oil on plugs. One for me to watch I think, hopefully now re tightened though it's all good.
  8. The small amount of braking will hold the disc steady and prevent the knocking. Maybe try jack the car up without loosing the wheel nuts and see if you can get any slight movement in alloys? Could pin point the issue to one wheel and give you chance to try and find anything in the way of where its mounting.
  9. The noise to me just seems like the movement you get without wheel on, disc contact with studs. Maybe the wheel isn't seating 100% correct so not holding everything tight as it should. What rims and studs are you using to secure them?
  10. A reset of the phone before turning car on usually solves any issues but definetly a pain to do.
  11. I had that issue with all bluetooth units i've had from factory fitted to one's I've fitted myself. It's just a general bluetooth problem that doesnt matter if its upto date or not just throws a hissy fit every now and then. Can't wait for WiFi Direct to take over on phones and in cars much more stable connection.
  12. Got rear ended... Was fuming at the time as they had the cheek to argue they didnt touch my car. Old couple admiring the field not even looking, thankfully its not caused damaged to the crash structure but it certainly didn't sound good. Hopefully his little french clio done a radiator pipe and he blew the engine.
  13. Happy Birthday scouserchris!
