  2. Don't it have a slot cut in it the same as the grill opening on the facelift to direct the air flow direct to the rad. with out it the air would just turbulate inside the cone of the bumper My theory anyway.
  3. 1ltr super red 3E5 to spray the bonnet on the 165 gt4.
  4. Well before i got my first Celica I drove a Vauxhall Calibra . Been driving Celica's ever since . Best choice ever made.
  5. No mate do it by hand with pressure from pulling the wheel If you use an air gun you run the risk of spinning the nut and knackering the splines up totally . It's going to be difficult . Pull the wheel to put some pressure behind the nut and turn the nut slowly you will feel it bite then it should come off fine. If it won't come off and rounds the splines completely the only other choice is to grind the head off the stud and pull it right through then replace with a new stud .
  6. Personal choice but i would go for steel / Alloy ones tend to crack and have had bad reviews .
  7. Happy 4 Anniversary shaungtr!

  8. Had the same problem with my gen 5 i just passed on to my son. We changed the igniter with no luck. I have just changed the ECU yesterday with a good working one from skiny and all is well the car is now running great.
  9. Not sure what your arches are like but the lip on mine tends to slope down a bit rather than straight or slightly upward like on most model cars . Rollers are not to bad in price now . Can pick them up for around £40-£50. The paint doesn't need that much heat to stop it cracking , Just a quick over with a heat gun before each roll will do the trick.
  10. Had to take my rear ones back off due to rubbing the arch . Mine are 25 mm with 215/45/17s. Going to roll the arches my self when the roller gets hear
  11. Don't come down this way Derren i know how much you love my Roulettes,

  13. Can't play the video mate it's coming up as privet content.
  14. It could be a possibility of seals going brittle after being stood for 12 months but doubt full as the oil would still hang around the seals in that space of time. More than likely a build up of moisture as you said.
  15. OK Your Celica at the Bingo Hall on open night. Bonus if you get the old dears in the pic .
  16. What i normally do Steve is wet and dry through each coat then wet and dry the final coat with plenty of water. You need a 1200 or higher grade paper for the final rub down after lacquer with plenty of water . After that it needs a good buffing . Ideally it needs to be left for a few weeks before the final rub down and buffing for the lacquer to harden off. Also mate a tip is to keep the garage /shed warm because the quicker it dries the better the shine will stay so less rubbing down afterwards .Also keep the dust down in the air .
