  1. Fiiiiinnneeee, i'll go buy them already
  2. No need to do that bud, its just that bottom pic from Tom there is definitely no marking. Dont forget 2.8mm is a standard print size for formal letters, 2.5mm is pretty clearly visible.
  3. I read that MYK but looking at those pictures you & Tom have posted, there isnt any markings.
  4. Are those plates legal though, I dont see a manufacturer name & post code or the BS stamp in the bottom right. I almost bought some from Demon Plates earlier today but for £50 I need to know they comply!
  5. I'd definitely check the aerial connection first Kev, i'm guessing its quite old & corrosion could be the issue rather than the HU.
  6. Dont forget that passing an MOT & the law are two completely different things. Just because it passes an MOT does not mean that its legal.
  7. I dont think you can compare the two cars, technology has changed so much in the 20 years between their release that you may as well be comparing an apple to a banana.
  8. I think most people who have refurbed calipers have bought their stuff off Brakes International.
  9. Good choice MYK, Serratia's brakes look quality & i hear they perform pretty well 'n all.
  10. I think Shep had his done a while back, might be worth dropping him a PM or finding his mod thread.
  11. Looks like he's tried to buy every extra piece of body mod possible & thought that touching the front bumper would just be too much.
  12. We started fitting them on petrol filling stations a while ago sshhhh
  13. You split the contents of the can into 3 then pour 1 part in the oil, 1 part in the fuel & 1 part in the intake manifold. Drive around for around 100 miles before you change the oil to make sure it gets to work. Have a look at this which explains it all pretty well. Good luck!EDIT: I used it on mine & it felt a little sharper after, throttle response seemed improved & it didnt feel quite as 'lumpy' on tick-over if you know what i mean. Hardly any smoke came out the exhaust though which was a bit disapointing but on the flipside it meant there wasnt much 'crap' in my engine.
  14. Nice to see the police in Rotherham are doing their job. Lucky they didnt get 'cha for drinking & driving
  15. I have used one down the road from you who i've used on my last 3 cars. Can be a bit pricey though so get a quote! Workshop is at the old petrol station on Highfield Road (i think its called A Simpsons?) Give them a call & ask to speak to Garry. 01274 612018
  16. I was looking at the 255 35 19 reviews & they were pretty positive, i imagine the size wont affect their performance. Will be buying some when i change my tyres next probably.
  17. If you look at the later pictures, i think they may have removed the cool-as-fuck graphics advertising a 'rear end ointment' Looks much better without them & would be a decent buy if price was a tad lower.
  18. That only applies to manufacturing standards & if the MOT is carried out on a car that has them fitted from the factory, not if they are retrofitted. Its been covered on here literally 1000s of times, read through
  19. Depends on your insurance policy as well. Most insurance companies dont insure cars with ANY modifications & the ones that do (like the specialist ones on here) dont want to know about little things like HID's, aftermarket sidelight bulbs etc. They are concerned about body mods, suspension, brakes, wheels & engine mods.
  20. Oh yeah, i know they are mega expensive for what they are ... but tough shit, if you want HID's to a car that was built before projection headlamps were even invented then you need to spend the cash. Think he's on about the MTEC style ones that are much brighter than a standard bulb. Good alternative the the HIDs.
  21. Reflector headlamps & HID's are bad news. If you want HID's i agree, i think you should get some projection headlamps. Complete crap about the washers though, i dont understand the purpose of those ... who has a dirty car?!
  22. It looks like you have wrapped tights around your light units.
