  1. They are a rare enough car as it is. Let alone converting it, the RA64 was a beast of a car. Technically it's a 2 door Coupe. The 3 dr is the liftback.
  2. Stuart has sold many of these over the years. One of his previous customers will be along soon to reassure you.
  3. Have you put an advert in 're correct part of the forum?
  4. Force out the top of the windows with these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Winbag-Pump-Up-Air-Tool-Single-Shim-Wedge-Bag-For-Fitting-Door-Windows-Frames/190690701488?epid=509236168&hash=item2c660d30b0:g:QogAAOxy-WxTBMQ9 Then use brake pipe to hook around the internal door handles to open the doors. If the glass breaks at least you were prepared to do that anyway.
  5. No brainer then. Get the lower payout and buy the car back.
  6. So they want you to pay the storage fees?
  7. For the £45 I'd take the car back and strip it, then sell the shell on, for probably more than the £45 it cost you. Don't bother repairing it though.
  8. Hopefully they'll up the offer then.
  9. Did you have an agreed value? Otherwise they'll just offer you book price.
  10. Congratulations on your new job, there's no reason why a Celica won't be suitable for the job. It's reliable, fairly good on fuel and won't depreciate much. The boot is a decent size to carry a fair bit of kit.
  11. Did they make you a decent offer or do they want to get it in their possession first?
  12. Written off, unless you rebuild yourself. AMS in the Corp section may well have all the bits you need, but there's stuff more than skin deep that will need replacing. See what the Insurance Co have to say/offer
  13. Any Toyota dealership should be able to get it from that part number above.
  14. It's a Dragon Boat, not a swan or viking ship. Rover had a Viking ship. Visit Ebay and enter 75386-14901 Or try the Toyota Dealership nearest to you.
  15. Please be aware of our corporate sales rules.
  16. A regular question. Have you dampness/leaks? Lights or tailgate leaking? Fresh air in or recirculation? Use air con all the time? Carry stuff in the boot that stay cool, like bottles of screen wash. Again the search function would help you get a quicker response/answer.
  17. Personally, I think it's more a case of protecting the "Celica" name.
