thermoacc
Probably supplied by Comma oil, just like Tesco and Halfords. (Although Halfords are doing £10 a bottle this weekend)

splinter
dont tar us all in that bracket, its only a small minority of the gen7's, mine doesnt use a drop. nadda neientay!! as my engine is currently smash to peices!! But before that it was fine. i would use some cheap oil like this for a flush charge then refill again using some good quality Castrol edge 5W-30 or similar. Old Red Celica
No reason with regular Oil changes that should not be OK. It meets the grade.
splinter
This is true, its basic specs are fine. but with more expensive and better oils you get more additives which all help to prolong life and clean your internals, oil isnt just oil
dublet
I put nothing but extra virgin, first pressed oil in mine..
Trebor4460
Ok for your standard reving motors but for peeps who like to enter lift and are hitting 8000rpm or more a higher quality with the best shear qualitys imo is a must and as mentioned the added aditives are a bonus... just my opinion mind.
