mikca01
Ahh, but most of us don't have the luxury of a second car and wouldnt admit to having a fiesta either. my gen 5 was great in the really bad snow last year had no issues with the 202 yesterday had about 3 inches of snow here yesterday morning. had dry roads and the shades on by 4 in the afternoon, dont you just love scottish weather. arizona
Pick up a set of cheap wheels Chan and get some secondhand winter tyres , doesnt cost much but saves your good wheels if you swap over December and back on in March/April. Gives you much better grip

armoredfist2002
7's are fine in the snow with snow tyres on, I have 2 spare alloys with snow tyres on, was out at 7.30 this morning putting them back on to get to work as I took them off a while ago with all the warm weather we had been having. Bill T
Don't get me wrong, my 5 is useless in the snow , I call you out Sir! I have a Gen 5 which is quite acceptable in snow, this inclines me towards questioning the skill of the driver.
