I have a apexi boost gauge in my car that ive said to various people they could have for free but all of them could not be bothered.

Does it match my new one ^^ ?

Infrared digital thermometer, just point and shoot and it gives a reading between -50 and 550 degrees C. Thought it would come in handy for detecting binding brakes by reading the temp of the discs, plus I'm interested to see what temps various engine parts reach on the track, I might also pop the lid of the brake fluid reservoir and measure the temp of the fluid. Tried it out on a few things at home and its pretty accurate.

That's the coolant which you shouldnt open when the engine is hot, I think I'll be safe with the brake fluid unless its boiling which is very unlikely unless the brakes are binding. I'll measure the temp through the side of the reservoir first.
