  1. Happy 7 Anniversary MYK!

  2. if you didn't use it to apply your spacers then you could have some serious issues if your wheel falls off while driving. Spacers are meant to be threaded in and bonded in place using Loctite. The reason tuner nuts generaly seize onto these is because of the material that they are made of, usually quite soft as well, have a tendency to seize onto the wheels. that and the Loctite wont have helped! Not sure what to suggest though. Probably removing it with the bolt then locking two nuts together one end and trying to take the wheel nut off that way.
  3. I've nothing left to do with this car though unless I supercharge and unless I'm tinkering I'll get bored Never been interested in being practical, just fun! My partner likes the practical car, she's after a 5 door polo haha
  4. 27 year old Instrument and Control Engineer... Had a celica from 21-24 then a mini cooper s for a year then back to the celica. Selling up soon to get a 350z though.
  5. Sold my celica, bought a mini, going to sell this celica, and will be buying a 350z when funds are there. I've also contemplated going Porsche 911, and while they where nice I still prefer the 350z....
  6. Sky wanted £560, rang greenlight and they quoted me £389. Certainly know which company I'll be using in the future!
  7. Sky insurance renewal quote. I needed a good laugh!
  8. Happy Anniversary MYK!

  9. I haven't tried this but read about it before...... http://lifehacker.com/fix-dents-in-car-bumpers-with-boiling-water-1562508423?utm_campaign=socialflow_lifehacker_facebook&utm_source=lifehacker_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
  10. Everything worked out in the end Honestly - apart from one or two corporate members on here (like AMS, mondo, slugster and serratia now) stuart is the best guy I've dealt with relating to car parts. Always helpful, always ready to give a hand, looks after parts, and genuinely cares about his product and how he himself makes them. Really glad you went to him and glad everything has worked out for you and the members who want the spoiler. As a cheeky hint, stuart may soon have a sports M scoop as well
  11. Spiral cable attached to the airbag Airbag is fine and celica doesnt use the spiral cable as its left in the rav4
  12. MK2 Rav4, 2000-2005 models. Jo3 currently has the same one in his car which is what made me want to try it as looked good, so thanks to his advice managed to grab one
  13. New airbag to try in my retrimmed steering wheel.... and glow shift gauge number 1. (these came yesterday, number 2 should be arriving today).
  14. Thats where the plastidip could be helpfull. sets like rubber and can be peeled off! Quite a few uses for it now I think about it!
  15. Annnnd. New slam panel, engine cover, fuse box cover, ecu pipe, airbox, airbox pipe, and genuine Toyota footwell lights (the optional extra ones in Japan that are made for the 7). Thanks to ams!
  16. Are you just going to paint them with standard paint? I've seen a few people do it on here but just interested! Powdercoating might give a longer lasting finiish, but would cost a hell of a lot more!
  17. Dont you already have one? or is it the hotchkis?
  18. They've been off the car for about 10 months so will be nice to get them back in (It only took mondo a few days to sort but it was me getting them sorted that took the time lol)
  19. The person asking the question isn't necessarily refering to a 7, early 7's and imports dont all have the alarms, and aftermarket alarms are sweet. Had a clifford concept 650 on my last celica and could remote start it in the house on cold mornings so that it would warm up and defrost the windows before I even had to go and get in it
