minisloth
I dont really have much to add to this, I've only had one other car. A Honda Civic that I bought from my Dad not long after passing my test. I planned to sell it as soon as I found something else but somehow ended up keeping it four years. splinter
First car was D662 OGN Ford Fiesta Mk2 holiday 1.1 Ltr in blue. Didn't do anything to this one i think, only a head unit then 6x9's on the rear shelf. Then F202 ORV (nearly FORD!!) Ford Fiesta mk2. it was a 1.4 Ltr Ghia. was quite rare. and slayed many a chavs in their Nova 1.3SR shitbox's The beast: Spent my student loan on some spax full suspension kit. got the alloys from a scrappy and refurbed em myself, had a 1.6 XR2 exhaust fitted. welded the fiesta sub frames to my mates calibra front seats and fitted them, had a full sound system in it. was quite a nice little car. Then when i qualified i bought a car i had wanted for years. a Mk2 MR2 2.0 twin entry turbo Jap import. that was it, i made it into the JAP scean. She was a beast. stage 3 hybrid turbo, about 5k on the engine, till she blew up. So i had woodsport install a fully detailed 3VZ-FE 3.0 ltr V6 into her, i then had head work done, full custom stainless exhaust, intake and variouse other goodies. when i owned her she was europes most power full Normally Aspirated V6'd Mk2 MR2. The new owner spun a bearing... RIP 21k in total spent on that baby!! So i then wanted something with back seats and still toyota. so it was either Supra, GT4, or the Gen 7. Thing is it had to be white. fell in love with the Gen7, but i wanted turbo and rear drive. But with a house and much bigger mortgage, i got my sensible head on and it came down to two cars, taylorad's and the one i have now. So, im now driving this baby. As she is now: When i got her: And thats it. Short but sweet.

dr3bin
When I passed I spent my student loan on a 1.4 CityRover After 3 months some woman crashed into the back of me and I drove a 1.9 TDI Golf for 2 weeks Got back in the ShittyRover and hated it. No power, no boost, nothing. Everything was crap now I'd driven a new Golf. So after 9 more months of h-a-t-i-n-g the CityRover I PX'ed my motor for a Fiat Grande Punto, 1.9 MJet Sporting. Great little car once it had finished breaking (wing mirror fell off, battery failed, front bumper caught fire, the turbo failed, got a flat tyre, buckled an alloy on a pot hole...) all within 3 months of owning it But then I got bored after 9 more months and wanted something sleeker and sexier. Now I got my 1zz Celica Although I will probably get bored of the 1zz and get either a conversion or PX it for a 190 in 6 months time when I have another year's NCB under my belt. The lack of engine oomph in the 140 is the only niggle I have.
