  12. We settled this ages ago when at pod when CCUK raced a Gen 6 GT against a Gen 7 Celica GT. Cant remember the drivers now but i think the young kid won
  13. No idea where you are based or what your budget is but you can pickup a VVTLi for a little more than a VVTi now. And you will have the confidence of the engine lasting alot longer: Examples below: 2003 - £2200 2000 - £2100 ONO
  14. lol brilliant! I feel they are better than the Kumho's in the wet and near enough same in the dry bud. They are cheaper and look better so thats another plus
  15. Currently what i am rocking too. 205/45/17 - £67.50 a tyre
  16. You would just buy 4L and then a 1L surely?
  17. I did my dissertation on tyre grip and did a fair bit of research into tyres in general. I absolutely hate to see cheap rubber on a decent car, whats the point in having a car like the celica and then being let down by what connects you to the road. I have no experience with any tyres you mentioned other than the Rain sports 2's, i was very happy with them in the dry and extremely happy in the wet. Great choice of tyre. If you can afford to put them on over the cheaper rubber do it and dont look back you wont be dissapointed.
