  5. So we use the red with white tracer n blue/purple with with white tracer for door light? Sorry its hard to see fully on my phone. Noticed that you have a white and an orange with black wire going to both of the above are they both live for one, and earths for the other or are they left n right doors as different cicuits?
  6. As bumblebee sed! I had a pioneer one in my s2000. It was ok in there as its a small cabin space, but was always just to add abit of bass not to shatter the earth. I had a bigger sub in my other celica and soon as I swopped to the s2 I missed the sound it generated. Needless to say I have a bigger sub again in my gt telling u?.......... Stick to havin no boot space! Its worth it!
  7. Most likely be your fuse. Its a 15amp (blue) mini blade fuse. You wil find this in the fuse box in the front drivers side area of the centre console. The flap for is the knee rest panel. Theres a groove to get your fingers behind n it pulls off. On the reverse side of the panel youve just pulled off is list of fuses so find the one that says cig I believe and match it up with the fuses. hope this is enough detail. If not you will also find this in you owners manual! Pages 271&272
  8. IMO No they aint that bad really. Esp if you lookin at a gt as most of them are still fairly new! Iv had two g7s one 140 and nw a gt never had any issues at all! As long as they have bin well looked after I.e full toyota history etc or low mileage then you will be fine! I don't even see many at work with issues. The 140s burnt oil but you won't have tht issue with a gt being the 190 engine. For how many people that have them, a few on here have had a few horror stories but it will seem that way as they all want advice, but on a whole they run ok! Pay decent money for a minter defo worth it. As you will always as with anything 'get what you pay for!'
  9. Got to say shells fuel is good I dnt really use v-power often but notice running changes when I do! I used to use supermarket fuel but since shell brought out fuel save (there regular fuel) I tried it and got a fair few more mpg even though driving the same! And have used only that for the last year in my g7 gt and prob 6 months before that in my s2000 I had before that. It also costs the same as sainsburys in my area win win! Hth
  10. Yh just go down toyota mate n theyl try differnt keys til they find a match n order the number from tht. Have done it loads of times for lexus customers n its the same set for toyota and lexus
  11. As above the key number is on a piece of card in locker box. However assuming you've list this too your toyota dealer should have a full master set in which they can match the number n either get u just a key or if want em changing remove ya old ones n put a new shiny set HTH! Regards nick
  12. You get wot you pay for is what you have to bear in mind. I have a snap on one for work which covers the high range bt a halfords one for small range. The halfords one has bin really gd and reliable as it seems to hold good calibration......however I had a 20 quid one previous to this for low range, some non-descript thing and after 6 months of fairly little use the calibration tech rejected it and said unable to calibrate. So although it maybe 40-60 quid for the halfords range its well worth it when tightening critical parts of your pride n joy! hope this helps! ( obviously only have a snap on high range as I use it all the time)
  13. Possible confusion lol but iv flashed gen6s n theyve put there thumb up... Sometimes others are ignorant or just dnt get the jist? Should be made law
  14. Wot gen n colour was it? As I flashd a black gen7 the other day in derby. Its cool tht you get acknowledged only ever happend once in my s2000 bt does happen alot in celica keep it up ppl!
  15. could poss be the seal for the sender unit? or bad fuel pipe connection? will try and do some more digging if you havent already solved it
  16. Gutted about the GT sam!!! hope you don't get any hassle from him or the insurance co. as mentioned above be prepared to pay more for your insurance. when i had my s2000 tht got hit while parked in a pub carpark and eventhough i wasnt in or near the car i had to pay 120 quid more because apparently im now more of a risk (wot a load of cod s**t)! anyway on the upside ya could try and blag a real TRD valance.....may not work lol well hope your OK and sorted in time for show season! catch ya soon Nick
