  4. Check the MAF sensor is clean and free from crap, there's lots of posts on how to do that... That's where I'd start.
  5. With a little bit of experience with both cars now I can say without any doubt that mechanically there's little between them. The true difference is in the way it feels when you push on and explore grip limits etc. Personally I think the GT86 is better looking, more modern, as you'd expect BUT... with the cost of GT86 at maybe somewhere between 6-10x the price of a decent Gen7 Celica it is a touch call to take the plunge. When costs come down further I'll be looking out for one maybe.
  6. Yup photoshopped, those are a set of 20" McLaren Superlight 'Stealth' rims which are an option fitted to MP4-12C and spider. Pretty sure you'll struggle to find a set, eBay has genuine ones with 19" fronts and 20" rears for around £6-7k if you're feeling flush and really want to ruin the looks and handling of your car lol.
