  1. All ready for the New Forest meet.
  2. What came in the Post Today?

These are pretty cool. All the plastic clips for the celica.
  3. No MoT for 40 Year Old Cars

Personally i think all cars should have an mot check. Most people on hear would agree even if your cars are up together they would still mot it. Take new cars from the factory they don't get an mot for the first 3 years. How many people know of the new cars taking their first mot after 3 years that have failed and that's only 3 years from new. It's a stupid idea. OK enthusiasts do tend to look after their cars bikes ect better than Joe blogs. Some are no mechanic and have work done for them and wouldn't necessarily realise or notice something was wrong.
  4. Just had the Air con tested for leaks and new gas put in. What a difference it has made to. Much needed in this hot weather.
  5. Changed LCD to Blue to match dials.
  6. Looking good mate. This car has come a long way since you have had it.
  7. Finished the gt4 today. Not quite finished but back together and running after 7 months stood .
  8. Mamba Turbos

Mine is stock engine well mainly stock so would suite it fine. These turbos come with 3 different size springs for the actuator and also a ball bearing kit to fit if wonted which is much better than the floating bearings. As Paul said the billet wheel spools quicker but no noticeable performance just a bit quicker on the power.
  9. Mamba Turbos

Cheers guys. Yes they did use to be partners in Kinugawa then separated and formed Mamba apparently due to arguments over quality . Going to look into Garret turbos i think they are a bit more expensive around 700 for the celica gt4. I wont something reliable over cost.
  10. Mamba Turbos

Firstly sorry if this is the wrong section feel free to move. OK Mamba Billet Turbos I am on the verge of ordering one for the 165 gt4 has anyone had any experience with them ?. Have read a lot of reviews and all in all they seem to be a good buy . I don't wont to go and spend out over £6-700 and find they are not very good. The kit comes with braided oil and water lines gaskets and turbo to manifold, exhaust bolts. Thanks for any info you may have about them. Cheers Shaun.
  11. Terraclean or Terrorclean?

I agree with whats been said . Derren hit the nail on the head about dislodging something that other wise would have never caused a problem if left alone.
  12. Nothing but trouble

I have had 5 celicas and had no trouble with them. Tell a lie my 165 has been a lot of work but that goes with them and i knew most of the work that had to be done. My gen 7 190 has had no issues at all in the 2 years i have owned it. and i find much more relaxing to drive than the other celicas. My son had a accord and had nothing but trouble with it. So i guess it's the same has any car you get bad ones from all makes.
  13. MOT and seat belts

A mate of mine just passed his mot with no rear belts he did however take the rear seats out no seats no belts and it went straight through.
  14. Put the 190 through the mot today. Clean sheet. Put the 190 through the mot today. Clean sheet.
