  1. What makes a CS a CS?

It's your car - do what you want with it. If you're concerned about future value and originality, any mod that cannot be quickly removed and returned to stock is frowned on. Just make sure you keep all the deleted parts. If you do any work on the engine - it's almost inevitable that you will end up with it forged - stock items are either unavailable or massively expensive, so much so that a forged upgrade is the economical option. Forged engine leads onto other performance mods, and before you know it - it isn't a cs anymore but it will be fast.
  2. Toyota Toys

Pleased your car hasn't got the front splitter fitted - they really don't look good.
  3. GA61 investment?

I had an 86 car in 88 with hardly any miles on it - sadly written off by a lorry on the A17.
  4. GA61 investment?

I 've had 3 ma61's - all white, I love them and they are superb cars - but don't weaken and settle for an auto or a narrowbodied car, the auto is slow and the nb is ugly.

    White CS
  6. Mamba Turbos

Billet turbo is effectively a stock turbo - but is fitted with a billet wheel ( rather than cast ) so slightly lighter, maybe slightly faster to spool up - but no real performance gain, so will be fine on a stock engine.
  7. Mamba Turbos

That sort of money or less, will get you a very nice forged rebuild on your existing unit - they are apparently ok, but I would be concerned with aftersales service. At least if you get a turbo technics hybrid - you won't need to take it back to China if it plays up. There are at least 4 trustworthy turbo builders in the uk, turbo technics, Owen developements, turbo rebuild ltd and aet - I've had units from them all and they were all really good.
  8. Nothing but trouble

  11. Would be interesting to have those front badges in reverse - like the original colt lancer 2000 turbo, looks awesome in rear view mirror of the car you're monstering.

  19. Is There A Towbar For A Vert

The hardtop towbar won't fit on a vert - much modification underneath for stiffening the chassis.
