Thanks B Stolen cars are publicised on platforms like Twitter/Facebook etc to make them too hot to handle and get more eyes out there looking for a particular car. As for a car that has been lost for 40 years, you need to use a similar process, but use owners clubs etc. You can continue trying on Facebook owners groups, with pictures of the car in question.
