  1. Took my girl for the annual stresser otherwise known as an MOT Test. She PASSED without advisories. Clean bill of health for another year
  2. New facia and old Toyota radio/cassette fitted. Interior finished now I think
  3. I would guess that a lot of it depends on general driving style. Anyone that likes to give it some serious stick is going to recommend PS4s or Eagle F1s etc because they need the extreme grip that these tyre types offer. Those that drive within legal limits will probably recommend cheapies. My GT4 came with 18" Bola wheels shod with cheap copies of Pirelli PZeros and they were really grippy. My newly fitted original 16" three spokes have been shod with Avon ZV5s and they go sliding quite easily on a wet road. Avoid them. There will be better opinion posted I'm sure. I'm quite inexperienced when it comes to performance car tyres to be honest. EDIT - I have never used a specific "season" tyre. Don't really see the need in this country.
  4. I think that will be my tactic. No prolonged use just clean, dry, cover overnight.
  5. I've bought a cover for the ST205 but when I mentioned it to the guys that did the respray they grimaced and said that it was okay to use one in this weather but they wouldn't recommend it in the winter. Only ever put a cover on when the car has dried but even then it can sweat and hold the moisture in making corrosion even quicker. They reckoned it was better to leave the car sat in the weather so that air was constantly circulating, letting the car "breathe". Opinions please because I don't have a garage and don't want to screw up after getting her looking right.
  6. Trawled through all my "stuff" that came with the car (L975 EPB) and the original water bag and tubing is there for the water injection system that was required for the ST205 WRC homologation cars. Thanks to Jim for telling me what it really was 'cos I thought it was probably for the intercooler radiator spray-bar.
  7. What have I done to mine today? Had two separate occasions when I had to take a watering can out to slosh off birdshit. Gotta look after the ceramic coating until the weekend when it should be fully cured and I can wash her
  8. UK spec rear light clusters. Bargain at £10 each from GT4_heaven. Even came with all bulbs installed but haven't fitted so don't know if they actually work.
  9. These arrived today from Lithuania. Don't need them yet but nice to get a bargain full set of superstrut suspension components for the "Faff" ready. They are rebuildable as well
  10. Absolutely ! Couldn't turn it down. It will be worn with pride when the weather is a bit colder
  11. I heard a rumour that Bek has moved North but where? I did search Bek but got zero result so forgive me if it's already been stated
  12. Only came as standard on the Gen6
  13. The ceramic coating is a really tough top-coat that gives a brilliantly deep shine. Everything underneath is getting a good inspection and anything looking suspect will be changed out. Underneath will then be corrosion protected.
  14. No news yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ryan and the team have had BIG problems. His painter has been off work due to "family issues" for several weeks and they now have a big back-log of work to get done. I'm not taking her anywhere else because I want this team to do the work for me. I'm missing her a lot and have lost out on all the good weather but it's not a disaster in the real World. Probably will be getting her back looking wonderful by mid September, that's life eh...
