Red is a good contrast, but I went for red and silver on mine both work well on the carbon. Red draws your attention, silver I more subtle and blends in well depends which you prefer do you want people looking at the entire or focussing on the top of your engine?

That is what I thought, I don't get why the air flow would be blocked, am looking at customising this a bit, may filter it though

Can anyone tell me what is covering the top grill on the near side of the facelift engine bay, it looks like foam sound proofing but covers the same side as the air box? Directly Infront of the air box but appears to block not filter air flow. Thanks In advance for any responses.
