I noticed a difference today compared to yesterday, acceleration was much better today with the colder air going into the airbox. I didn't have the a/c on yesterday and I still noticed a drop in performance due to the heat!

I think you've pretty much covered all your bases to be fair, the only other thing I can think of would be a check of any heat shields/engine covers and make sure they're all fixed into place properly. Other than that I'd say check the things you've mentioned above each week and make sure fluids are topped up and everything else is within tolerances. Might also be worth looking into fitting an aftermarket cruise control system especially seeing as you're travelling the autobahn.

Possibly a daft question but how do you reset your ECU, do you pull then reseat the EFI fuse?
