I noticed a difference today compared to yesterday, acceleration was much better today with the colder air going into the airbox. I didn't have the a/c on yesterday and I still noticed a drop in performance due to the heat! -
I think you've pretty much covered all your bases to be fair, the only other thing I can think of would be a check of any heat shields/engine covers and make sure they're all fixed into place properly. Other than that I'd say check the things you've mentioned above each week and make sure fluids are topped up and everything else is within tolerances. Might also be worth looking into fitting an aftermarket cruise control system especially seeing as you're travelling the autobahn.

Possibly a daft question but how do you reset your ECU, do you pull then reseat the EFI fuse? -

Red stitched GT arm rests from JO3 to match my gaiter and centre arm rest, cheers mate. Just need seats and handbrake to match now. #babysteps

I hope you know thermoacc that this is partially your faulty after I read your rebuild thread!?! But alas, I'm thinking not so much unfortunately! I love the look of the 5's but looking deeper at the pics it'll probably need quite a bit of time which I couldn't give it at the moment (still working on building my cafe racer!). Shame really as hate to see an older car/bike go the way of the dodo.

Wow! Glad you got to walk away ok. Pretty sure they didn't ncap test the celica but looks like it would have done ok. Glad you're ok and hopefully see you in a 190 soon. -
