  1. Read this on news sites that they gonna get 10 percent bioethanol in the petrol. Will our cars work on this or is it game over? Pointless me spending money on preservation of the car if there is not gonna be any fuel around to run it on
  2. may give it a go. id like a silver coat. gonna clean mine and check if they are still good. if so i will probably just look for high temp clear coat
  3. Can the wing be angled to provide lift insted of downforce?
  4. Iv always wanted to paint my calipers but dont want to do it on brand new ones incase they are faulty and then have warranty issues with return due to paint. Also once calipers are on the car i dont feel like taking them off again just to paint. Damd if i do damd if i dont.
  5. Welcome and also those headlights seem to be heavily fogged up. You could be the record holder. Got any close up pics of the head lights?
  6. Does anyone notice a difference in how it drives with and without the wing?
  7. Thought the standard coating they come with is a zinc plating. My fronts have been new for 2 years and coating is still there. Just have to clean them to see it. I like the silvery finish they come with. Is there some sort if high temp lacquer that can be used to preserve them?
  8. You guys with big wings all got rear wheel drive conversions done? Or you just chavs?
  9. cool my originals are are torn up so will get these ones ordered. may as well change the shocks too while im at it.
  10. whats the quality like of the rubbers? are they like plastic or proper rubber quality?
  11. Where get from? I need new front shocks and the rubbers for them too.
  12. How to tell if rear shocks are genuine? Got me worried about mine now. Also i need front shocks who is safest to get them from?
  13. Depends which car they buy. Mine is 18 years old and if i decided to sell it no one would have to worry about anything thats on that list.
  14. bought replacement plates from ebay, they didnt need anything other then my reg and the money.
  15. I used motul gear 300. Biggest difference was that in winter the gear shift is no longer slow and has drag anymore. Shifts smooth and easy when cold.
  16. I fixed it up now using a simoniz clear coat pen. Uv activated one. Will see how it goes and update on its longevity. If it fails then cheapest option will be a bonnet bra.
  17. Heh. 1995 fiesta mk3. Those plugs had done 9 years and 35k miles of use. Genuine ford platinum plugs rated to 40k miles. Plugs worked fine no missfire or issues at all. Thought id change them before they seized into the head. Made a lot of creaking noises when unscrewing out. Replaced them with denso iridium plugs. Noticed mpg increase straight away and car feels more torquey. Had the car 20 years now so next plug change will be around 2025
  18. Vpower is a ripoff. Switched to momentum99 and no difference other than money saved.
  19. http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/178225-spark-plug-query/&tab=comments#comment-2265682
  20. I left the drain plug open and filled in some cheapo brand gear oil to rinse out the box a bit. 190 needs 2.3litres so if u buy 3litres you can put through half a litre or so as a rinse. Mine dragged out some dirty oil when i rinsed it like that
  21. Will try that. Got a link to the best type of laquer to use for the job? Dont need much since its less than a pound size
  22. on my fiesta i had a faulty brake hose that acted as a one way valve so brake would stay on for one wheel where the dodgey hose was and not retract.
  23. so this happened probably last year or the year before, what i did was just clean the area and spray some laquer over it. but now im wanting to do more of a permanent fix to it. i dont think it warrants a new paint spray job thats gonna cost loads. whats the best way to fix this so that it doesnt get any worse? this is on the bonnet where the bumper meets drivers side.
  24. doubt it the master. have you checked to see if one side pads are retracting more then the other side?
