Best thing i bought on ebay last year, partworn snow tyres - best looking now though rather than leave til weather gets worse. Size will likely be slightly different from what you re using, deeper profile and usually a bit narrower, this makes for better winter driving. I wasnt sure on makes so i found some on ebay and then googled reviews Goodyear got some of the best reviews iirc but no dont touch retreads

Bought a gen 6 1.8 a few years back as a cheapie when my car failed its mot, idea was run it til failed its mot bin it and get something else - six years later it finally failed an mot despite being totally abused, filled with all sorts of stuff, it'd get oil if the light came on and that was about it. Had some tyres and brake pads and a secondhand caliper in that time but nothing else. Even when it sold with no mot it went to someone who was going to put the bits right and use it. For its reliability, usefullness and being great to drive the next car was a no brainer, but this time the vert which wants for nothing and the gen 5, love the flip up lights and the look of it so thats my winter ride and great fun in the snow

No need to get a solicitor or to even use a duty solicitor at the court. Its easy to represent yourself, you know the facts and can put your own case across. I remember when i did i wasnt daunted when i got in there as i knew i didnt want to be sat there while some solicitor was trying to make my point and not be able to say anything - it was a great feeling when i'd done it and judge threw it out once had put my case When you are waiting to go in and bored and ready to go home you'll likely be given an opportunity to settle before going in, do it and you'll be pi**ed at yourself all the way home Go get 'em

Why are they not looking into that fact? Take as much info as poss and have your day in court I've done this in the past, not with same issue but after standing up in court with my defence, the judge dismissed the case - that was a dvla case

During yesterday had 3 behind me at various times, kept the revs down but the hardest was on the way to JAE exiting a motorway services to rejoin the m/way there was one sitting in the sliproad luckily m/way wasnt busy as had to join it at 40mph

What they said ^^ the vert gets that come November , the gen 5 has been started up a few times while been off the road but i always sorn them and the vert gets its battery disconnected
