  1. Repost.... This annoys the hell out of me every time I watch it plus the "when I hear radiator I hear explosion" "I play call of duty I think I'm qualified to know what I'm talking about" Well I play assassins creed so fuck knows why CSI wont have me and Forza but ken block doesn't wanna know.
  2. Mobil 1, castrol magnatec are the ones I use. I know others use whatever is on offer, see what others say.
  3. 5w30 is recommended. Having said such a thing I was told to try 5w40 if you are rev happy with your car.
  4. That sucks mate looking at the damage it confuses the hell out of me how it might have been caused, looks like it goes from week arch to rear bumper then stops?
  5. You won't need primer if you're spraying onto paint. Primer is pretty much to secure adhesion between the contact surface and paint. If you're spraying onto paint already on the wing make sure you rub it back past the lacquer as its not great for adhering paint to an will likely flake.
  6. This. I'm sure they could sort something out for you.
  7. je-zus! Not only survive but also sounds like he managed to climb out the car.
  8. Glad you're happy with it mate
  9. Fly eye is terrible stuff, I've used it before and wasn't impressed with the results. I've still got some black around here somewhere if you're seriously after some send me a pm.
  10. Mine is stupid loud and I passed in August last year. And I mean stupid loud.
  11. Polyurethane is authentic. Generally black in colour of unpainted. Fibreglass is what replicas are made of, more often white in colour, but could be made black with a pigment (never seen done) Only reason you'd as black pigment to fibreglass is to claim it was authentic and someone would find that out sharpish, so noone bothers. Hope that helps. Oh and the one you're talking about sounds genuine
  12. I'd not checked the oil level on my car when I bought it. It's easily done getting caught up with the excitement, although I had in mind to change the oil as soon as I'm home, I never checked it. A lot of respect to the man for saying the issues and going into so much detail. The engine is pretty much written off but I'm sure if he had the patience he could make his money back parting it out.
  13. They've had good reviews from a number of people on here, the big power guys for sure moving this though as its not gen 7 specific.
  14. Was thinking about this the other day, probably the only disadvantage of putting a gt4 lump in a gen7. Gutted you got stuck, but relish in the fact that the car dominates the dry weather
  15. You did. I moved it to club chat and merged with another thread lol might be worth posting in the meet thread as well or editing the title to location of where Ams is and where going
  16. Happy Anniversary Lex_GTS!

  17. You assumed it would be too expensive. Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups
  18. I have NS2's and they're okay. I bought them as old set of wheels got corrosion in the rim and went through three tyres in 2 months so bought those as a temp thing. In the dry they work, they're hard wearing. Launch at higher than 3k rpm and they will spin and if you land 1st to second in lift they will spin again. In the wet and snow or anything other than dry, they spin. Controllable under normal driving but if there's a moment where you need to stop suddenly or turn sharply in anything other than hot dry weather you will shit bricks. I won't buy them again, they last forever, but that's a lot of thinking time about what else you could've bought.
  19. Offset is the distance from the centreline of the wheel to the mounting plate. Or how much the wheel mounting plate is offset in mm. The lower is the more it will sit out towards the arch, the higher the more it will sit in. A higher offset can be corrected with spacers, a lower offset if too low... Well you're gonna need a different set of wheels. You're probably finding them expensive because you're looking at wide tyres low profile and small... People are gonna be thinking for lightweight wheels. You should be after 205/55/16's or 215/50/16 at most or a combo 215/55's the speedo will be out on the latter two. 205/55/16 is correct for Celicas I think?
  20. I always watch when they're fitting my tyres, they should spread some adhesive around the edge of the wheel before tyre goes on so no air can escape. Be worth checking if there's any nails etc in the tyre. I got three punctures in a month, two were nails and one was rim corrosion so rushed and bought new wheels. Seemed that the lower the profile the easier I picked them up too
  21. I'd say its probably corrosion around the inside of the rim if its 3 weeks old. Don't go foaming that, that would just be an incredible way of throwing money away. And those aren't cheap tyres. Having said that... Those tyre sizes are so wrong
  22. Can you run your hand along underneath it Tabba? Think that's only place it would be.
