  1. Mark also got pulled up by the Police yesterday afternoon in his Corolla. Must have been a training day for Police on how to pick on young drivers day.
  2. They are still at it. Thomas got pulled over today in his Diesel 306, as it was putting out a bit of smoke from the exhaust as he'd over filled the engine oil. We'd drained the excess and Thomas took his car for test drive. So yes it was putting out a fair bit of smoke, hence the reason he was on a back road (out in the country). Mr PC pulled him over and said the exhaust was too loud and if the noise test team were nearby he'd have them check the volume. They were not available, shame, as I would have loved to have popped up and watched them.
  3. Ummm, I think we need more info on the car. Assuming it's a Gen7 you need to read the Fault Code
  4. Leave Palestine alone, they've got enough trouble.
  5. Just go to your Toyota dealer and ask for the paint patches in your paint code. They'll know what you mean.
  6. No reason with regular Oil changes that should not be OK. It meets the grade.
  7. I had Poly bushed Front wishbones fitted to my 6, Why? you might ask. To buy and fit a pair of secondhand Poly bush wish bones was cheaper than buying one genuine bush from Toyota and have that fitted. Polybushes don't have to be stiffer than the original rubber ones that are OEM.
  8. Yep Mikes fine Supra. I think he did sign up on here for a while.
  9. That's assuming the holes on the favoured wheel will match the boss fitted to the car.
  10. Dremel a slot in them. So the boss is stuck on the shaft and the wheel is stuck on the boss?
  11. If you still get the sound with the pads removed, the next thing to get out of the way is the caliper. Have you removed the discs and checked for a rim of rust around the outer edge of the disc? Outer AND inner edge, both sides !!
  12. First of all you need to find out IF its the pads. Remove the pads and remount the wheels, don't apply the brake!! See IF the noise goes.
  13. Never even seen that type before. I use these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321117346603
  14. I got 68.6p per kilo at Compass Recycling in Wymondham.
  15. My 16" momos fetched about £6.50 each when I took them to my local yard. With tyres removed.
  16. You don't get the idea of this do you? Nice pic though.
  17. IF 76 is not good enough 37 certainly won't. I'll have to count up the number of keys on our Casio Keyboard
  18. That car has been discussed many times in the Gen1-3 section. Maybe you should have a look around in there and see what you can find
  19. I used to tow with my Gen3, I now use my Gen6 SR 1.8. As tow cars go it does the job, my caravan is about 1100kg when loaded with Club stuff. I only do 100 mile trips in it though. IF you want to go further or up any long hills, keep some power in reserve. The next caravan we get will be a little smaller and lighter. A good set up should not damage your car.
  20. The full service history will continue IF you list everything you do.
