  1. But if it gives you more torque throughout the rev range, that is useable power. Bhp is useful, but they might actually make it more drivable. Mind you, have your done all other work first? Brakes, tyres, handling?
  2. An Electric Supecharger through an intercooler? giving a net benefit of -6Bhp?
  3. Today I had "Nuffink in the post" not even a bill
  4. Why was the neighbour not out helping you lift the tree clear? I hope they have been apologetic.
  5. 12x1.25 are Datsun/Nissan so take a reg no off Ebay like L 406 XVV and see how you get on.
  6. Ummm, leaves you a bit buggered then. WILCO at a push then, Halfords might have them.
  7. I know. But unless Arthur has changed the studs to a finer thread he'll still need std wheel nuts of 12x1.5.
  8. I have some std Toyota wheel nuts if you're missing some. But NO Tuner nuts, Wymondham Motorist Center, SCA (on Sweetbriar Ind Est) or Wilco.
  9. Ditto to the above, check pads first. Then top up fluid if pads are OK, IF the level still drops quickly double check for leaks.
  10. Hammer NO, "Corrosion Assessment Tool" YES. Which is why my first post on this thread asked IF they really had seen them use a hammer?
  11. But it's all for your safety. Getting back to the OP's question. I'd get a wire brush on a drill and give it a good clean up and treat. IF the rust reveals a hole then get it welded.
  12. Was the hammer hitting this year or last year?
  13. Really? You seen them hit a sill with a hammer lately? You could clean it up yourself and paint it up. Only worry if there is a hole, that will need welding up.
  14. Fed up with having to close the window if you wash the windscreen. FORGOT !!! Wet leg.
  15. It's currently 2 caravans and 6 Toyotas, so I'll have to pass on this one
  16. It's not too bad. 4 new tyres 4 missing locking wheel nuts Brake fluid low because the pads are worn, Discs worn because more than likely the sliders are seized. The biggest thing to worry about is the knocking engine
  17. What sort of mechanic removes pads that look like that, fix a handbrake then refit those pads?
  18. If it's on its last journey to the scrappers just find a scrapyard with a Hiab on their lorry.
