armoredfist2002
Mine cost me £40 and that was for rocker cover, inlet manifold ans strut brace ends. But if your going for the polished finish then you will more than likely need to have it bead blasted first. Don't sand blast it as the sand will get stuck inside the oilways in the top of the rocker cover.

daytona
Was that to match the JPS colours or is it your own concoction, Dover flying shite hawk brown?

MYK
Quite happy with my lovely red strut as it is Even though it's more "pinkish" I still like it
nthnmunky
I'd steer clear of having a 2zzge cover done myself. Any contaminants that make their way into the oilways on the underside are going to be dragged through the engine. Not a good idea.
MYK
But it looks so purdy!

splinter
Power coating debris has been known to destroy a few well known 2zz engines!! Steer clear and get it painted/polished!
MYK
Whats the recomended paint then? High temperature hammerite?
splinter
Special high temp paint is best. Hammerite might work. It's been fine on my calipers!! And they take some abuse!! Haha
Dickie
Why not try VHT Wrinkle piant? I'm doing a few bits in my engine bay with it. Good up to 177C temp wise. Produces a really nice effect as well. Just google it.
