RichieRich
I Used www.shiply.com When I had a Porsche 944 turbo moved over 180 miles cost £150, as the guy had to make the journey more or less empty when he dropped another car off... usetheforce
I used this guy http://www.paulridley.co.uk/ to take my car to a garage when it had the MHG work done etc.. He was recommended to me by the late great Perry. Looks like his site is down at the moment though.
nthnmunky
+1 for Shiply.com I've used them myself a couple of times and they are consistently the cheapest. Never had an issue with them, always collect when they say they will, drivers suually keep in touch to let you know what's going on etc.

CelicaBen190
Shiply isnt a person though, its a reverse auction type of thing. You list the job and people bid on their best price to do it. You can use it to courier stuff as well, sometimes you could just get someone who is just going to same way and is willing to make some cash and take your item on the way
