  1. Next job on the list will be fitting a penny washer to the cracked/corroded heat shield.
  2. They are a Danish company dating back to 1921 and have manufacturing plants in Europe, USA, and Asia. I would be happy to fit their products in my car when I need to.
  3. Nissens lists two versions of condenser. 94740 - LHD, with dryer, corrosion protected. 940710 - RHD, with dryer. I guess you'll need the Right Hand Drive version. https://catalogue.nissens.com/FrontPage https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303480494346
  4. It had been resprayed "Rover Nightfire Red", just before I bought it.
  5. First photo taken shortly after I bought it, and the second photo was taken a few years later after a BT van did an illegal turn in front of me. The car was written off.
  6. I really am amazed at that. Anything over £13 usually has 20% VAT added, plus a Royal Mail handling charge of £8. I'm tempted to take the plunge and order some parts for the Gen' 5, now. Probably, Amayama Trading. https://www.amayama.com/en
  7. Have you bought anything from UAE that didn't have VAT and Royal Mail handling charge added to it when it reached the UK? People tend to forget that when buying from abroad. Looks like that could be the case. Here's a price in euros from ToyoDIY.
  8. There is one of those on eBay, now. Make sure you're sitting down before you click the link. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114821590244
  9. You might find the part number and if they are available separately by visiting the site below. http://japan-parts.eu/
  10. OMG, a total of £1,140 I hope that comes with a lifetime guarantee. Edit: I've just checked their website. "Your System/Part is warranted only to The Original Purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. No other warranty is given or otherwise implied and the use of the System/Part in a racing engine/car or any other environment is entirely at The Original Purchasers risk and undertaking."
  11. It's a shame that they couldn't make the longer sections out of one piece of tube, rather than multiple short bits.
  12. Most of the credit has to go to Paulus3476 who took the time to find this solution for all of us. Thanks, again, Paulus.
  13. Yes, it's not "plug 'n' play", so you will have to remove the connector from the new replacement and use the old one that's on the car now. It was possibly done the same way when the last replacement was fitted, unless you were lucky enough to have matching male/female connectors.
  14. Yes, near enough. "Castrol Red Rubber Grease is a medium consistency grease based on a vegetable oil and a synthetic gelling agent". Red Rubber Grease.pdf
  15. Fit a new one from a Lexus. It will need slight modification to fit.
  16. If the belt shows signs of cracking, it's time for a replacement. I think Blueprint source their parts from major OEM manufacturers, so either of the three you mentioned would be fine. https://www.daycogarage.com/catalogue/en-us?a=1
  17. You could try this company. http://www.biggred.co.uk/
  18. A set of four axle stands will be needed if you want to support the front and rear at the same time. You can gain some extra height by placing your 380mm jack on top of some old bricks or timber that you might have laying around.
  19. https://wheelpcd.co.uk/wheel-et-explained/
  20. The Gen'5 fuel pump sits on a rubber cushion.
  21. Klarius TY367X silencer for the ST182 Celica. eBay - £30.00 inc' delivery (new old stock)... What a bargain !
