  1. Looks quite Welsh, I want one!!!!!!!! edit - Ooops, I've got one!
  2. Also decided to go for the Ceramic coating after the respray. Got it on my Hyundai and it's worth every penny/pound. A proper shine that looks better than cars sitting in a showroom They've been in touch today to ask permission to take her as an exhibit on their stand at the Oswestry Classic show. That's before they've even started working on her. They reckon she'd be a talking point. I've said yes of course even though I won't be in the country to be there myself but I'll see the pics
  3. Hi Debs, these are the guys I chose for the job. https://www.facebook.com/sparkautomotiveuk/
  4. Original is my mantra at the moment 99GT Hi Jeff, you got it wrong mate. I'd stay there in a heartbeat!
  5. Yep, can't wait to get back there. Four days of torture to go then back to my idea of paradise
  6. Don't worry! There'll be pics galore when she's done I've told Ryan that I insist on lots of pics of progress so that I can still be in touch whilst away swigging copious quantities of Greek Nectar in the sun
  7. Thanks GT-4grey and Chris. Yes I'm nervous but expectant. The guys that are doing the work for me actually have E-type Jag #2 in being reborn from the ground up and she's looking amazing My original three spoke wheels are also getting the treatment and the original side repeaters and indicators are going back on. She's gonna look original and mint when she's done
  8. L 975 EPB (my baby) has gone in today for "the works". She's having a full respray in the same, original colour, with any rust removal and dent correction. She's being rust protected underneath. She'll also be getting a full service with all fluids and filters being changed. I'm also having a full inspection of the suspension bits and pieces. I can't be too precious about not having her around for three or four weeks because we are off to Skiathos for a fortnight on Friday. They have promised to take lots of pics so that I can follow progress whilst drinking lots of Mythos in the sun Can't wait to see her in "as new" condition again.
  9. Puch Maxi 50cc step-through. Yamaha XS250. Kawasaki Z500. Kawasaki Z1000. Morris Marina. Datsun Sunny Coupe. Ford Cortina estate. Citroen BX. Vauxhall Astra GTE. Peugeot 306 estate. (Wife passes test and I'm going back to bikes). Citroen Xantia. Honda CG125 (yeah I know but it was a commuter.) Yamaha XJ600. Yamaha Fazer 600. Yamaha Fazer 1000. (the last of the bikes for me) Hyundai Coupe. Hyundai I30 Nav (still the daily) Toyota GT4 ST205 WRC.
  10. Oooooh!, just down the road from me
  11. Just put a bit of V-Power in the GT4. Seems like I'm still lucky here at £1.29.9
  12. That's a proper beauty.... Brilliant that you were involved.
  13. Jeffers-1 and myself at Oswestry Speed and Rally Show today. Two UK GT4s side by side is a rare thing.
  14. Cleaned it ready for "Speed and Rally" show tomorrow. Put the new mats in as well. Exciting stuff....
  15. Well that's very strange, the pic I posted yesterday is halfway down page 1 !!!!! Try again Meirion. My baby with a bit of a grunge photoshopping.
  16. Still a bit on the boring side for all the "Faffers" but my pair of original front indicators arrived today. £32 off EBay.
  17. Still not got anything exciting but all good stuff. A past owner had put clear repeaters on but I wanted original so these arrived today. From Lott, total with shipping £26.
  18. Got my original GT4 ST205 16" 3 spokes today. Need a bit of a refurb but not in horrendous condition.
  19. I know it's boring when it's not a new BIG turbo or smart wheels but these arrived today for me. The seats in my ST205 are in very, very, good condition as standard so I thought they deserved a little protection for the future. 2 seat covers from Argos, with postage £14.
  20. My Toyota centre console hinge arrived today for GT4 ST205. Hurray. Cost £20'ish from someone in the UAE.
  21. Hi ChelrGirl, didn't get as far as the triangle. Had a traumatic morning trying to get her started after 4 weeks of inactivity and hence a flat battery. Drove for an hour or so locally to get some juice in the battery then stopped for a shot of Shell V-Power and had to head straight to the Ponderosa to meet Jeffers at the appointed time. Did some miles and enjoyed them all so that's all that matters really isn't it. I could never do the Evo Triangle in the Celica as fast as I used to do it on the bike anyway
