I'm going to semi-forge mine next year, ideally I want a comfortable 300 HP to play with but my Hybrid is capable of 360-380 plan is oversized forged pistons, full bottom end regrind with race bearings, 5s engine oil pump and full engine seal kit, ARP bolts/studs throughout, 205 head gasket and maybe some head work like polished ported and flowed. Also the block and head will be "decked" to ensure true square ness and flatness, cambelt kit too. Well, that the rough ideas in my head lol already blew it up so going to build it to last and take abuse as I will be doing track and drag days too When are you buying a 185 then Scott ?

  11. no mate, and its a good few feet of the ground too. our off road trucks have them but they have half inch thick under-trays lol. i would rather spend the few quid on a magnetic sump bung.
  12. we had these on the lorries in work until one got hit by road debris causing it to open, lorries engine was fecked before it could get stopped as the pressure just force emptied it. be handy but 30 seconds with the spanner is just as easy

  19. i hit a badger years ago in a mk2 fiesta, full strecth it was right in front of me. front and back wheels lifted as i went over it, wrecked the front panel and rad. its like hitting concrete those buggers :xmas_mad: on the back road to work there is always loads of winged rats seeminly sleeping in the road, ive lost count how many the Corsa has had, i will try my best to hit them when in the Corsa :rolleyes:
  20. thats wild dear mate :xmas_ohmy: as said Bek will be far cheaper. i work on gen 5s and charge 250 for the head gasket, that includes the gasket. i was looking a g7 engine a while back and AMS was under 350£
