  1. bit of topic, i havnt heard of carnoisseur in years. there was one here years back, early 90s to be precise spent a shedload in there when i was young good to see they are still going
  2. if its a small shed say 12x12 a wee electric 3 bar heater will be ample, i use one in my 12x6 and its good
  3. not sure about how to do it witout loosing coolant as mine is air to air without coolant.
  4. remove driver dside under tray to see the pulley wheel, theres a wee nick on the otehr thats hard to see and needs highlighted sometimes. this wee mark when setting the timing backup should be at 10 degree by the mark on the bottom cam belt cover
  5. and im half cut too you can have that one
  6. this is why you should have kept the gt runabout while the faffing is being done yea once its all un-bolted and disconnected its just a matter of pulling it forward of the mani studs and lifting out, the water feed pipe to turbo normally puts a bit of a fight on
  7. i got mine of ebay for 17£ delivered bud http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Powerspark-TL100-Ignition-Strobe-Timing-Light-Lamp-/110711496588?hash=item19c6eb5f8c:g:Q4UAAOSwh6xTsIHS
  8. Yea I have it down to about an hour now I've done it that often lol easy done in few first time but, best take Mani and turbo and downpipe off in one all together I think. That is the Chinese shite one built up for fitting, 700km later it shit the oil seals then in just hybrid,ed the old one This is how to get the oil feed banjo bolt the easy way, put the socket on below then extensions through,
  9. No mate 70km that's all's on the new hybrid too as it popped a ring/piston 70km after painting and fitting it My local factors have black, silver and chrome in the rattle cans Will take some pics tomorrow as its back home for a while now
  10. Stove paint is good for the manifold, I done mine, turbo and downpipe in Simonez high-temp 800° stuff in a rattle can. 70 km later and still looking good, sat now from November so still looks good lmfao
  11. Get the spark machine out for 2 mins bud
  12. i never worry about clamping brake lines, i always cable-tie an empty fanta/coke whatever bottle up to the strut and let the pipe rest in it when removeing calipers. some will lose more fluid than others but ive yet to see a system drain a good lot out. and to answer your question, idealy they should be clamped to prevent fluid escapeing into the enviroment, polar bears and all that
  13. My 182 we had for 4.5 years and the 185 is coming up to a year, maybe in another year it will work and I can go a cruise lol
  14. my airbag light cancel,er came today. its for the Glanzlet, im putting my TRD wheel from the gt4 in it. well it says TRD on the cheapo horn push button got it from demon tweeks also last week Sergie arrived to keep Vassily company
  15. They are a great driving car and quick enough too, when it hits 5200 rpm the fun begins
  16. I've ordered this to fit the non-airbag wheel will wait till it comes before I change it http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/bosses-fitting-kits/simoni-racing-airbag-warning-canceller-kit
  17. the double wired plug is the trigger/fire wire for the bag. Other types I've seen have a mechanical trigger bit like a gun . Long as the battery is disconnect it will be ok to work on the horn wire funny in doing this myself on the Glanzlet over the weekend as its horn switch is not working, will be fitting my TRD wheel, airbags are a curse I think!
  18. does my Glanzlet inside a football stadium count you did say Your Car
  19. my corsa served me well, then the Astra for 5 weeks. well now i need yet another banger as the new daily shitkicker plan failed
  20. if its the Sony one it will but you will have to plug the adapter into the changer bus socket.
  21. nuts4wheels.com uk company and quality product mate, look for my "tuner nuts" thread in the consumables thread
  22. can you hammer a smaller socket onto it? Failing that its hub off and small grinding disc from behind. don't be tempted to try and chisel it unless you are HOLDING IT FIRM, a buddy had the same thing and set the chisel in then stood back and whacked it, nothing holding the chisel which flew out and bust his lip.
