  1. Question: When someone gets their car wrapped, and someone keys it, or reverse into you and scratches it or w/e, what do you do to repair it? is it all under guarntee to get it restored for nothing or what? really curious about the "what ifs" were to happen to vinyl wrapped cars
  2. Yep, A garage thread would be greatly appreciated on my behalf also, there are times when I could really do with a well known non ripoff suggestion
  3. ahh bollocks, I wont bother then lol, i'll still try the underside of the radiator, if thats all good I'll just have to get some florescent dye and UV light to see if I can see anything
  4. Yeah, I checked oil, spark plugs, tried to smell a "sweet" smell from the exhaust, everything is fine, no white smoke or any smoke Mate said maybe try some "K-Seal" so I might check that out,i'm pretty sure, it is only happening when in lift, or higher end revs, thats pretty much the only time I notice it alot
  5. As far as I know, we don't have radiator caps, the only cap we have is the one on the res tank J03, hmmm not been under it yet, have to try that over the weekend
  6. My coolant is being stupid, at first I thought due to it being colder the coolant condenses and obviously by doing that it shows up lower on the tank but now, after driving about, yes, the coolants higher, but only JUST over the low mark, when last week when it was cold I filled it to full, drove around for half hour, come back and the level was back down to low. So i wanna find out where (if any) leaks are to start with, I live Rm5 area so hopefully someone close by can help
  7. Thats a genuine one fitment should be easy, take off bumper, remove the old basic lip, put new one in with previous bolts from the old
  8. Ahh HIDs, the stupid bulbs everyone should get rid of, I cant stand them, someone driving in the other lane and they blind ya Just stick some regulars on it
  9. I started with a KA, after I got no claims and knew I was good at driving I started to walk along roads writing car names down of the ones I liked (realistically), and then I see a Celica but just thought sod it, its gonna be expensive to buy, run and insure .. so I got home and all the realistic cars I jotted down I researched them, reliability, cost, comfort, insurance just everything ... Then I remember about the Celica, I did insurance first just to see how much more it would cost, thinking it would be through the roof, and then I saw it, £100 cheaper than my KA, I couldn't believe it, I thought there must have been an error so I went on other insurance places, and they all came up around the same price, then I had to look at reviews about them, I was just like ... Holy shit its perfect, I thought shit I'm gonna probably have to do overtime to get my money building up to buy one, I want on eBay to see how much I needed, expecting at least 5k, ... £2000-3000 , I had the money to buy one, pay insurance all off and still have money to do whatever. I was over the moon, so for a few weeks I searched and searched until one caught my eye, then I see my one, clean as you like, standard, full service, new brakes, new bolts, new bits and bobs, 190 version for £2800, and I fell inlove with it, my dad said was alot for your first real car and really tried to put me off, so I left it ... A week later it was still there, so I phoned him up and asked if he still had it, to which he did, I shouted its mine, I want it, I'll have it, when can I get it ... Tomorrow he said, 200 miles away was where he lived. On the night I told dad I'm getting up early for work.."on your day off? You feeling alright" . Next morning came I shot up and went, when I got there I was so fucking excited to see it, 200miles was along way for me, travelling all this way, money ready and I didn't even test drive it before talking, I knocked on the door of the most beautiful house, met my a well decent bloke, suited and booted, well looked after .. and his Mrs was stunning, I thought fuck yeah, this car has definitely been well looked after, he showed me all around, told me what he's done, all the good bits, and pointed out what he thought was bad, a flakey sunroof lol, and that was it I told him to count my money and the deal was done, about to start the car "I filled it with vpower this morning" he said, full tank of awesomeness and I loved it .. drove it all the way home with a massive smile on my face Got home, parked it in my dads garage, few hours later he was due to come home, I bumped in the car and waited .. he pulled up outside the garage, got half way lifting the garage door, and then I turned my engine on .... He shit his pants
  10. I dont "wave" at them, I just rest my arm/hand on the steering wheel and do a thumbs up That way .. well you dont look as stupid lol
  11. I got my first one in just over a year last week
  12. Chris, yeah you test it on yours first lol then I'll decide if I should DIY Why did you get quoted for a bumper when yours is on the spoiler? lol Ive put a coating of wax over it, hopefully that'll reduce the spread a bit
  13. I have this on my spoiler, originally it was just something like a 2mmx2mm bubble, so I for some reason decided to scrape it with my nail, then I realized .. that was a bad idea Is this the clear coat pealing off?, if so whats a way of fixing it. without hopefully having to sand down and re-spray it :/
  14. Happy Anniversary Gimba!

  15. Do me a favour, could you post a side shot of your car, I wanna see what the rear valence looks like against the dynamic skirts Blue celicas are the best looking, well done sir
  16. Cheers for this, I was pretty close to ordering RTPs one, but if you can get all that done for less than £200, thats a bargain I reckon How long did it take him to fit it?
  17. Do what Steves done, its what I did and its still clear as before
  18. It's quite a good idea, but should only be displayed with cars being sold at the proper Toyota/Mazda etc dealership, If anyone actually owns that it looks too stupid, unless you had a message like "Enter and I'ma rape ya", that way you get a laugh ... yet at the same time later you can say "Well it does warn you officer ... see"
  19. I use the thimbs up approach rather than waving, Thumbs up gives a sign of hello and i respect your car
  20. Both would deffo hold that shit in, I used some Serious Stuff Ultra from B&Q for the skirts ... that also is a strong as anything glue
  21. Usually that setting is set to "Returns Accepted", obviously just hit change to change it ... for the future
  22. Surely, if he asked if they are buckled and you replied with you're not sure, that was his own risk to take, you never said they are or they are not, I wouldnt offer a refund and just say you never said they wernt buckled, plus they are 2nd hand +, how do you know he isnt gonna send his own dodgy ones back and claim they were the ones you sent also, in your ebay listing, did you change the "allow refunds" option
  23. Hello hello, if I buy new tyres, the same dimensions as the previous one, would I need to get it balanced again or will a straight swap be fine?
