  1. When that peach of a motor is revving up to 8000 in the Tsport, and sounding sweet as, its a heart winner..
  2. Sad sight m8, glad u not to banged up hope the myopic van driver gets a few licence points, he might think of lookin next time.
  3. not 100% sure but even if you don't claim for the damage on your own motor you will still have to stump up the excess on your policy if the other party involved makes a sucsesful claim against you. if that is the case your no claims will be list anyway so might as well get it repaired profesionaly.
  4. Basically a lot of people just couldnt give a dam for other peeps property, but worst are the jealous mindless cowards who sneak around and go out of their way to damage your motor, mine got keyed all down the door outside work last week, if I had caught em I would be doing a strech now, ........
  5. If I find the fooka who keyed mine he's on a one way trip to Cannock chase in the boot of my car with a spade... I hate these gutless shites..
  6. If its not deep and you can hardly feel it get some 2500 grit sand paper, use it wet and sand the scratch out, then finish off with some g3 cutting paste, wet again, don't let it dry out and burnish the paint, then wax and polish. If you going to get it sprayed anyway you ain't got nothing to loose by trying the above method first. This worked for me when some low life cowardly bastard keyed right down my drivers door last week, used the above method and it's almost invisible now.
  7. spray em for a few days with a proper penertrating oil, Plusgas, then after a few days heat em up and they will prob shift, £1400 indeed, lol.
  8. Is the car reaching the working temp, thermostat operating correctly?
  9. Seems a fair price m8 for the work you detailed, I shelled out £190 on a "service" on wifes Ka, from a main Fraud dealer, and believe me all you get is an oil and filter change.
  10. clean your bays with water no probs, as already said, a bit of water aint gonna hurt the engine but still cover the electrics with plastic, and you defo dont want water going into the open Alternater. The worst, and imo a no no is Jet washing, water under pressure is gonna find its way into places you dont want it to go, and just cos you chance your arm and jet wash the engine and got away with it once or twice.... the electrical components in there are not water proof and will dead short with a bit of water, at least cover em with plastic guys.
  11. You might find this helpful m8 http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=GB#/watch?v=A1ZC9pisybg
  12. Don't think I would really want to be spraying steam/water around the electrical components like the dude in the vid to be honest, never used one though but might be worth bearing in mind.
  13. Thx for the guide, worked a treat, and thx to the club owners for my sticker and goody pack.
  14. Sh does look good m8, big up to Toyota build quality, and a bit of tlc from yourself,
  15. Wrong I'm afraid m8, t-cut ain't harsh, it's marketed as a colour restorer, it even states on the bottle to use for tar removal, I've used it on paintwork for many years with only excellent results.
  16. drop steph42, Steve, a pm, hes been polishing and powder coating for years, am sure he will help out or point you in the right direction.
  17. Drop this guy a line,Ian, i know him off bike forums and he does good work, http://www.blingdit.co.uk/
