  1. Roundabout near the Harvester at Morley by any chance? Saw a huge pothole there this morning and the amount of people that drove down it was untrue!
  2. It is all to do with the density of air, the colder the air, the more dense it is. The denser the air, the more oxygen it contains. The more oxygen in the engine, the more fuel can be burnt. The more fuel combusting, the more power produced. So yeah, it matters, and don't trust that garage!
  3. Damn, is yours in view? Reprint Shame they didn't use any of Rich's car
  4. Nice to see quite a few club cars in view
  5. Great pictures there dude, can't believe he used the one of me in my green hoodie Good to see CCUK got a mention
  6. Look in the meets section for the Blyton day. Ideal for starters with plenty of run off, like minded people on track with you and tuition available. I know it is a bit of a trek like but £85 is cheap!
  7. I have tried some Doctor Leather wipes and they were fantastic (also used them on the home sofa)
  8. I was certain mine was top end too, took it toyota who reckoned it was piston gudgeon pins, all I know is that when it let go you could limp it home but plumes of smoke out of the back and it was knocking it's ass off
  9. Sorry to say it but sounds like a big end issue to me. My starlet did it, rattle on startup and at about 2500-300rpm but sounded like the top end. It sounded like I had left a spanner on the rocker cover lol. Used oil and was down on power. Went with Steve (silversurfer) to go get him a new engine for his 140 (death rattle) and one for mine (got one with 29k miles on), turned out to be great timing as mine gave way on the way home
  10. Isn't this what Sh3p has been playing with? Could be pretty cool on a helmet
  11. Mine is doing well, brakes feel better, car feels more responsive but that might be me just having more confidence in it
  12. I prefer to drive down a straight road with left foot on the brake. Or just do a trackday, bedded mine in
  13. That is a strange one David, I just did mine as I always do, FT (fcking tight) and they seem fine. My only issue from the weekend is a spongy brake pedal but I will just change the fluid this weekend
  14. Steve, it isn't that far to drive, head down yourself!
  15. The one that annoys me the most is advertising as Tsort/VVTLI and it is a standard 140
  16. Result, now all you need is a nice black GT with MOT......No? worth a try
  17. Hiya, My 1996 Gen6 got far less advisories than that To sell or not you need to ask yourself: Will you miss it? What would you get? What reason do you haev to sell other than falling out of love?
  18. Won't be going until after lunch dude
  19. Does anyone need anything collecting from Nix that is near to Leeds? I am going over on Saturday, so if anyone wants anything bringing back to Leeds I have no problems collecting from them. Bearing in mind I will have a set of alloys in the car so space will be slightly restricted, but if it saves postage costs I will happily bring stuff back
  20. Yeah maybe to a black Gen 6 with full MOT
  21. I personally would remove the wheels and stick on axel stands so they do not get flat spots. Or just leave it with me and I will run it for you
