  1. Beware cheap wrap 3M or Hexis are good names to look for
  2. Look it up on youtube, you need a sharp scalpel and a heat gun and have a go at it, if it all goes wrong pull it off and there's no damage to whats underneath so apart from what you spend on the wrap there's nothing to lose I personally just dont like wrap, ask MrRizla, his gen 6 wrap wasnt perfect (it was there when he bought the car) and while he was in making a cuppa i whipped it all off one day I love the look of the wicked coatings dipped one though
  3. Yes there is, i'll find what i saw and post up a link http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Graphics/3Mgraphics/Resources/PressReleases/Archive/?PC_7_RJH9U5230GUC302D2B9O7224M1000000_assetId=1273680822891 you could get some and do it yourself maybe? or this was my preferred, poss for the vert centre consul which was why i was looking http://www.wickedcoatings.co.uk/category/film-design/metal
  4. Yep, it could just be gear selector or whatever the commonish thing is to go
  5. Never done it but would think investing in a heat gun is prob preferable to get the best out of doing it , think they pretty cheap
  6. Just had unpacking session here My shiny S/Steel cooler panel for over the rad for the vert from 25thAniversary, cheers Finally after some hassle with a wrong part and then trying to find the right one, handrake cable for the GT4 - which i have compared to the old cable and is spot on so is the right one this time and also my first bargain of the year, cant believe this was £11.50 plus carriage, its like new also for the GT4 which is in desperate need of one chuffed
  7. Cracking price here for the ones i have on the 5 http://ssl.delti.com...ampaign=froogle different profile to mine though
  8. Can remember my old boss from good few years back binning his recently purchased pride n joy Porche on a first time track day and my sisters ex had total write off of his new Suzuki GSX 1000 and a broken leg to boot (self employed....) though no way should he have been on a track the idiot. Dont know what happened with insurance on the Porche but whatever he had didnt pay out for his car
  9. because there's only about 4 people in the world not singlehandedly keeping the oil producers going
  10. Nope promise it wasnt this time, the gt4 is emptying my pockets as it is My white one hasnt been advertised yet due to the low prices around at the mo
  11. I use Powerflow one in Croydon as was recommended by several people plus at the electrical wholesalers next door they have a cafe and coffee and brekkie with the paper is just right once you've left the car with them RSR in Factory Lane 0208 6816415
  12. Funny that looks how my garden used to look
  13. at that price i wouldnt even bother going to look at the gen 6's, as said above there is no way of knowing you arent going to end up with an oil burner - we were careful but Kens SR soon showed up to be one with the fault Dont think you could go far wrong with that gen 5 dont forget Wickies grey 6 GT as well, think that is for sale.....
  14. as said somewhere above that looks more like a chemical reaction to something that has got onto the car
  15. Digs the number is 01706 666999 and they are open this morning til 1pm , you cant see the part online it needs to be ordered over phone
  16. Had a quick look this morning and its not in the car folder which is odd, i cant see it anywhere else so am assuming it is in the car - which Adex has a the moment. But am pretty certain it was Brakes International that i phoned as the only other one i was dealing with brake part bits was TCB and it wasnt from them. Not cheap though about £18 but everything you needing and more so i found it was less hassle as i was running up against blanks trying to source individual bits of it. Ade said was so impressed with it next time he does the faff brakes will be purchasing for his
  17. I got a superb brake fitting kit for the 185 sent through the other day, Adex commented on how it was far superior quality to the original fitted when new - i'll look it up tomorrow and post details up When i was ringing round, had problems with what the individual bits were called, eg the anti squeal springs which are def called that in the manual but when i asked each time was only offered shims and not springs and they didnt know what they were , i said they are called that in the Toyota manual i'm looking at the exploded diagram with it written on oh Toyota are good at that, they call things different to others anyway, i think it was brakesinternational but i'll look out the invoice in the morning
  18. smooth red hammerite before i changed mine and was a good red colour, couple of coats
  19. I just bought some seats for the gt4 off a fella who owns a car sales place up north, his words "sadly the Celica has gone and i'm currenty having to drive around in a Vauxhall Astra, oh my"
  20. I can't think of a single negative comment on any of mine (even the BootMobile) , ignore him he's a dick and he just thinks he's found a way of winding you up - remember to toot and wave if you ever see him unable to start his car or broken down at side of road :xmas_wink:
  21. See :xmas_laugh: take no notice of them, enjoy your car. The owner of the farm where i live hates jap cars and is a Jaguar fan, he's relented now as he's seen how reliable mine have been while his brit cars have done nothing but let him down :xmas_biggrin: , actually admitted they were rather good a couple of months back and now his son has bought a classic Supra so we now have four Toyotas parked in the carpark with the (currently broken down) Jag :xmas_laugh: Gimba you're a gem Geraint can you get a pic of their faces when you say this :xmas_laugh:
