  1. See Dazols thread, he's dipped engine covers similar
  2. These are what i put on the vert, much better, proper spray and dont stick up on the bonnet like turrets.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLVO-WINDSCREEN-WASHER-JETS-SPRAY-TYPE-C30-C70-XC90-/360659100711?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53f8f52427
  3. I could do with the rain not coming straight off the roof and in through the window if i put it down a bit when its raining, grrr that's on both models..
  4. good news, think the GT4A is the widebody import but without being the RC version I just saw a link to someone elses that might make interesting reading http://japanesenosta...opic.php?t=8713 Just been reading the fellas thread on this project of his, have saved it, its pretty detailed
  5. pleasure in fact while looking at their other products i found some fabric roof dye for getting it back to a nice black colour so have saved that on my watchlist
  6. I was going to order mine but found it by accident in my local hardware store. Dont think the autoglym will do it, i have that kit and though i dont have any mould i've a feeling it wont be enough to remove it, maybe treat those bits first with a product for dealing with mould and then give it all a go over with the autoglym kit? Someone, sometime has put the roof down when its damp V. important to follow the instructions on the glue, dont do what i did when i used it on something else, not read and then wonder why it didnt work Wonder if this stuff is any good? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOULD-ALGAE-REMOVER-250ML-CONVERTIBLE-HOOD-ROOF-/260694000192?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item3cb292c240
  7. Makes all the difference sporting that tonneau doesnt it No not done the repair yet, its trying to tie it in to my alternate weekend working along with getting a decent weather guaranteed window of opportunity, just now its been a bit unpredictable. The last thing i want to hear is rain when i'm in bed and the roof's half open outside while its setting
  8. Yes you could be right there, she asked me what i was doing when i took a photo of the car next to the llamas for a previous challenge , and before that parking it next to the tractor getting out taking a pic and getting back in and reparking it back where it was
  9. my neighbour saw me trying to make the chicken stand on the roof , so she thinks i'm some sort of nutter
  10. Ok i admit defeat here I just tried to grab a chicken I got it, but in the process got nettle sting, the cockerel attacked cos i dared to nab one of his ladies and during said attack i fell over backwards , still holding the chicken whereupon the cockerel rounded for another go So phone in pocket, take chicken to car and place on roof but then its not that easy to hold it there while trying to get phone out and set to camera She used the windscreen as a slide and ran off squawking before i could get a pic
  11. You know if you were really gonna be sensible you'd be looking at running an old banger for a year and saving the money towards a faff for next year........
  12. A car shopping day in the sunshine, perfect Good luck, must admit look at the grey one and think wow, but the blue doesnt wow
  13. The grey one does only have a short mot I dont know what 190's go for but that and he mentions hasnt had to spend any money on it would flag up it may well need a bit spent to get it through, brakes sorting probably for one thing, but i'm guessing
  14. The rust bubble's not gonna cost you 300, reckon get over there and have a look at that one before someone else snaps it up
  15. The grey one Dont compromise on the colour you really want, even if this one turns out to be not right for you wait until another comes along. I dont know about the rust on the wheel arch but sure its not a biggy If you dont get it and take the blue one sods law will arrange an exact what you want to turn up the following week after you've spent your money , happened to me a few times
  16. I thought that with the boot comments but then maybe it was still being able to seat 4 ?
  17. I was going to put one of my chickens on the car roof this morning, then i thought no it'll just do a huge morning poo on it
  18. I'll be winning this tomorrow maybe
  19. Shiply.com , wait a couple of days before thinking of accepting any quotes as they start fairly high and then choose , not necessarily the cheapest but check feedback. I've had some things delivered by self employed 'man with van' outfits who have things travelling with cushions and blankets round them and taken the utmost care. Thoroughly recomend
  20. Will be watching this thread, good luck There is no better feeling than walking out of that court having given your evidence after hearing the judge say 'case dismissed'
  21. Yep its not doable with the roof up, hence needing the good weather - having part open until its in the right position and using the baton method from inside to push against the glass is what i'm intending. How easy it will be i dont know but i'll be sure to post up pics when i do it later in the summer. Have the pita job of the rear quarter window motor replacement to come too, still havent done that
  22. Horrible, ruin the dash on any car imo Like some of Mooks dials though, they look good http://skewer.co.uk/
