  1. look like the connectors for VSC (not fitted on your 140)
  2. They are the best tyres if you can afford them - they were £200 a corner trade price in 225/40/18 a few year ago -for my sisters 225 Audi Tt Quattro - supreme grip - but under 10,000 miles and all 4 were done
  3. Run them for 20,000 on the back and you will see the problem - but with the eagles being so soft you probably wouldn't get 20,000 out of them.
  4. What's the longest you have had a set just on the back of the car?
  5. It's probably worn on the inside edge
  6. They came on Jdm models as well - I have some more if anyone is after any Think correct size is 195 55 15
  7. There is one in the vert - I can check if it all works but dont know when ill have time
  8. If you look under mine at 227,000 miles and compare it to other 7s with 60,000 miles - mine is actually cleaner underneath - what I would say with high mileage is that suspension components do get tired / on the 7 I would say the best things to replace are the shock absorbers - you don't notice how they have no pressure in them until you drive one that has new shocks
  9. sorry skim read it - that would be my bet - as most people dont know about them and they get blocked
  10. are there any drain holes for the roof on the 6 - I know my mr2 - the drains were blocked as they were on my mx5 which caused lots of dampness, they were in the corners on both cars behind front seats - but yours maybe behind rear seats - they were hidden under gunk
  11. I was 24 when I bought my 7 - that was 10 years ago - I was into modifying and max power back then
  12. Is normal for fans to come on when you come to a stop If your not loosing coolant, your temp is sat normal, it's not running continuously and your heater blows hot, I wouldn't
  13. if the other person is claiming on there insurance, then you may as well - they will probably write it off and you can put the money to a 190
  14. have you checked that you have spark on all 4 coil packs - if one coil pack is faulty then the car will not start, lexus / toyota coil packs tend to fail when the car overheats - and they are often misdiagnosed as HG as a result I have used tested Coil packs if you do find you need some

    Happy Anniversary ams!

  16. Problem there is mate - you apply the loctite - screw stud in by hand - it's not quite tight - loctite sets - you then put the wheel on and tighten the nut - that also tightens the stud - that then breaks the loctite seal - you unscrew the nut and the stud comes out as well
  17. Use the 2 spanner 2 nut method - don't go crazy with it but it's got to be better than just finger tight
  18. As Shep has said did you use the 2 nut 2 spanner method to tighten the studs in - can try and explain if needed. I've always done it this way - was a bit shocked when freaky said that you could strip the threads doing this - but I would be very concerned if you could strip the threads with the torque you can get using a normal sized spanner - bearing in mind that it's holding a road wheel on.
  19. If you let the master cylinder run dry when you press the pedal then the seals can end up inverting. If you did ever let it run out, then best to open all 4 bleed nipples and keep topping up until fluid comes out if all 4 before you lock them up and use the pedal to then bleed it properly.
  20. It was over £5000 plus the £11000 for the car but most of that was 10 years ago , did have around £3000 worth of parts that I bought over last 3 /4 years but am now using them on the newer Celica
  21. Stainless so better to go to an exhaust that makes custom systems
  22. if it doesn't have the bits you want for it - walk away, explain to him why
  23. i would too - I dont think he realised at the time that the police would be so rubbish at dealing with it - even though there was evidence
