  1. Happy 8 Anniversary samuaw!

  2. MX5 are great little cars with great track car characteristics. However, on track I would typically be MX 5 hunting as they are generally slower and makes me feel better than i am not the slowest car of the day. With a decent suspension set up, they can be faster than a celica round the twisties- but hit the straight and they really do lack power.
  3. Happy 7 Anniversary samuaw!

  4. Happy 6 Anniversary samuaw!

  5. Happy Anniversary samuaw!

  6. Am i the only one that failed an MOT for them being too white? Had these super duper white side light bulbs back in the day on my 206- failed because it wasn't meant to be on the car as my dipped were yellowly (as they normally are) Thought it was all BS- so on that basis i change them over every year- 1 minute job saves 10 minutes of talk.
  7. Happy Anniversary samuaw!

  8. Ebay Copy- Tried and tested Looks Nearly the same as the genuine article. Ray's version- which I am more than sure would as close as the real thing as possible (can;t download picture and upload again)- btw- that's the same car in both pictures- different valance http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Celica-00-06-Rear-Lip-GT-Rear-Lip-Rear-Valance/250834093199?ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1&ih=015&category=43117&cmd=ViewItem#ht_632wt_648
  9. That actauly reminds me.... Next meet at Ace.. 5th August 2012!
  10. I am guessing your wheel nuts are of the after market variety with the anti theft key, which is just a specific size and shape of nut which require the key which it came with? which is on all the nuts and not just 1 per wheel. Was going to suggest what i did, But not too sure you can with the description you gave.
  11. I would help, But i too also did not do my brake lines. That's the part i paid someone to do whilst i did the rest of the stuff. Would love to help Maybe someone at Ace Cafe can do a mobile fitting service. You have 50 people in your pit crew, i am sure we can do it in no time!
  12. Hi boss? Never heard a chinese person from hong kong say that before!
  13. Sport M,.. in Peterbrough... Sounds like it could be Fen Sport's one... Could be wrong though.
  14. I saw that too on BBC But i prefer this weather report... http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Lincoln-LN2
  15. I guess the milage is a tad high. Averaging maybe 20k a year... ish? Apart from that.. it should still be going for above 5k! I am thinking scam
  16. Wow Chris.. Your car is look goooooddd.. Can't put my finger on what exactly has changed or not changed... But it all working together finely!
  17. I find they do stop better. But then again, Anything was better than my old setup, OEM discs (i think) OEM pads (i think) Rubber hoses. But The discs were warpped, and the hoses expanded - possibly on my track day, Thus there was steering wheel wobble at high speeds and under braking and Very very very spongy brakes. The ticking noise is the price you have to pay to look "cool"
  18. I have gotten used to it... But yeah it is a bit annoying..... Then again.. it isn't AS annoying as brake squeek!! I think all grooved discs make that noise, Not sure about just drilled though
  19. If i was stinking rich, I still believe in the "under dog" A Celica GT, Mr Rotrex will be in charge of tuning.... and it would be a car i'll still have on my drive. The- I look tame but can eat bite your head off- look is something i'd go for. but not going for the show car scene. Just a bloody nice drive will please me. -----That'll be the daily drive, Same as an S2000, Rotrexed up again, to show those Convertible loving super car owners, that price does not always = performance. --So that'll be the summer car Then for the practical car to moving stuff around - A hummer h2, None of that H3 malakry lol. - Also doubles as the extreme winter car. Then i'll have some sort of flashy car, Umm a Lambo will suffice to pick up some poon- Doesn't matter what flasy car as long as I get the results from it. Then if i find a good poon and stay with it... Then a practical family car- IS-F
  20. I think we can slot into the Largest Parade of cars. Specifically the Celica. They all seem to be held at silverstone doing a parade lap or something official..... they have the largest parade of Toyota Audi.................. How about going for the largest parade of one specific model of car. Celicas. So we can get everyone from gen 1-7 to join in. Would require a HUGE meet and every to take their time to drive down to Silverstone or wherever Just read the largest single model of car parade is with 2700 beetles.. Hmmm not going to beat that ......
  21. Not to forget, Whatever you Wrap needs to be primed before wrapping. Purely as it sticks better. Don't Want to take hours wrapping something only to find it comes off a week later. So if you do it yourself, Do the proper steps of paint prepping. more like Vinyl Prepping.
  22. If you are seriously after a Carbon blade, You can either a ) Wait for RTP's Carbon spoiler, or hybrid FG and CF b ) Wrap it like what Mikey did. c ) or Finally, Something called Carbon Skinning. This is not commonly done anymore as CF Vinyl wrap is easier to do. But you do get that Shiney Lacquered Carbon look. So in basics, You get a sheet of real carbon, stick ontop of the FG blade, and lacquer it. Not really sure what the exact process is, But that's it, Plus probably lot more complications in the matter. A real Deal spoiler is indeed pricey, But thats TRD goodies for you...
