  1. Carbon bonnet been faded for years due to sun damage. Finally got the wet and dry sandpaper out today and sorted it all out[emoji1] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  2. Happy 12 Anniversary Giler!

  3. Happy Anniversary Giler!

  4. Happy Anniversary Giler!

  5. I've used Nankang's for years, on road and track, never had a problem with them. Tried a couple of other brands, Pirelli etc and to be honest felt no difference in terms of performance. If all your doing is everday driving with a spritied drive here and there the Nankang's will do the job just fine
  6. Just had a PM saying I've been a member for 8 years! 40,000 miles covered in that time inc: 15,000 miles outside the UK 10 Countries visited 360 miles of the Nurburgring over 7 trips That works out at: $1000 per 1000 miles in cost(exluding petrol) 3 engines(4 if you count the Se7en motorsport rebuild last year) 2 gearboxes 16 alloy wheels Blood, sweat, tears and alot of heartache, but the smile it puts on my face is priceless Couldn't have done it without you guys
  7. Happy Anniversary Giler!

  8. I'd be in for a pair - I'll try and send a PM to all those going and direct them here 1. oMIKEYo 2. Giler
  9. Yeah it'll just be some sort of Silicon Sealant, you can buy it from B&Q, its whats held my side skirts on for 5 years or so, does the job
  10. How small is small? Could I fit it in my rucksack as I'm riding a motorbike at the moment? If so I'm happy to pick it up for you aslong as you promise its not drugs, weapons or explosives I ride within a mile or 2 from Lewisham once a week so shouldn't be a problem. I'm not coming to RS, but I'm sure I can meet up with SJ or someone else who will be. Or I can post it to you.
  11. How big is the item? My parents live 8 miles away from that postcode and I just so happen to be there this weekend, but am on a motorbike so it'd have to fit in my rucksack. Thats probably of no use to you at all , but the offers there
  12. It is sad that this stuff happens, my brother's had a few cars "Stolen to order", he even managed to find one of them, a beautiful Evo2, unfortunately they were travellers so even though the police got involved they couldn't find it, eventually my brother managed to negotiate to buy the car back, but by then the engine was blown and he had to break it for parts. He was heart broken, only owned the car 2 months. You could get a camera setup inside the car, then you'll get a face shot of the fecker aswell? Hope it doesn't happen again.
  13. They were very helpful with e-mail notifications, and I did get one a few days after that one with the tracking number etc. I was pretty happy with the overall service etc, just thought that 1 vague e-mail they sent was a bit odd.
  14. Think my order took around 7-10 days, which I was very impressed with, but be prepared for MWR's awesome customer service, one e-mail update I got was literally just this, no "Hi", no "regards MWR", simply: "Your items will be sent some time this week" I think I wrote back and said a little more info might be helpful, like when this week All round good service though, the above is the only bit I could fault, but that was more funny than bad.
  15. It's definitely worth it, every day driving is much the same, but lift is great for the grin factor & added speed when you need it. Price difference isn't that much between them so should easy be able to sell yours & get a decent 190 for not much more Do it!
  16. Got mine, gotta say I'm massively impressed with the effort put into the both photos and putting it together
  17. If they release it with the engine they originally proposed, 150bhp then this thing will fall flat on its face and be a huge embarrasement to Toyota when Subaru reveal theirs a year later with twice the horses and 4WD. Toyota need to get a 250-300bhp variant of this released at £23 - £26k, if they do I will sign up and hand over my money, if not I a call to Nissan and a lovely 370Z will do as a nice alternative.
  18. I'm liking the sounds of this, might have to check out the free version
  19. Good to hear you've got the Celi back on the road, and more importantly a big grin on your face, whats the point in owning a car if it doesn't have the ability to make you smile
  20. Nice, i won! - have been trying to dig out some video footage of us off-road aswell. Coughdrop - have checked out your trip, does look awesome, would have loved to have been involved. so, next challenge is to have a picture of your Celica in either a Tunnel or a Cave..... good luck
  21. Not quite "Rally Style", but is this good enough? driving through France last month, and our Garmin Sat Nav thought this was a main road! The road got alot worse than this at points, and after about 30-40 mins of this the track turned into a housing estate, was a bizarre day.
  22. ok, so my story was B.S but i did have to pay my mate a few fags to stand in a phone booth while i took pics, i'll post 'em anyway as i went to all that effort. will try and get the missus in those stockings, a long shot, but you gotta try
