I'm reliably informed that these are over 100 years old, my great grandma's (or great-great - can't remember how many great's but they've been in the family a helluva long time!!!) I've sharpened the pic so you can hopefully see what's written in the box... It says (I think): R. Ofsseidlinger Juwelier & Goldschmeid Braunau a. Inn gegr . i . Jahre 1790 (Braunau amm Inn is the town in Austria where my grandma's family came from... interestingly, it's also the town where Hitler was born...)
