  1. Personally id buy an 86 for modding purpose only but when the price drops and maybe find one with a blown engine. Otherwise for now you get more better value on celica.
  2. My BCs are as comfortable as when I had TRD springs, TRD top mounts and KYB shocks combo. In fact it tackles the speed bumps and pot hole infested streets of London better.
  3. I have them now. Doesnt bother me since I check my pressure about every 2 month along with my other routine checks on the rest of the car.
  4. Common mistake when ppl wrap interior which has sunken edges and corners are that they just sink in and cut to the edge. In most cases, wrapping it round the back in some corners like the stereo din corners is that it over stretch and wont stick on the back. The trick is to cut it so it has tabs and you fold the tabs back and anchor them down.
  5. Happy 8 Anniversary yellowchinaman!

  6. Happy Anniversary yellowchinaman!

  7. Good idea Tom. I practiced on 2 of my cars before knowing its limits and what to look out for.
  8. Be careful if youre new to this. If you're going to practice on someone else's car you should settle the terms as to whos responsible for what. Eg what happen s if paint cracks or panel warps etc...
  9. Ahh thanks Mole. Bit I really doubt that it'll fit inside the rear of the gen 7.
  10. Maybe. I cant say I have it on my old ST202 but I definately have one of these in my inside ends of the arms http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-CELICA-VVTI-REAR-UPPER-ARM-CAMBER-BOLT-/231014343265?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35c9872261 Which I've always thought it was a stock part. And if you look at the picture above and ebay link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321180729368?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 1 of the lower arm has an adjustable mid link for toe in toe out. Its the other arm which is fixed that has this camber bolt on mine.
  11. well TNT does it for £37. But if theres some one on the way down I don't mind paying £50. Its not worth a round trip I know so best for some one on route.
  12. I know this is a long shot but I need a polo boot lidnpicked up from sheffield to london. Im willing tonpay. Just dont trust couriers for large items.
  13. Camber bolts are not fixed on the gen 6. Its only fixed because all of ours are seize. Lol The inside bolt has a rotation plate which should allow you to adjust a little bit of camber. Also one of he arms should be adjustable too. But thats a big should.
  14. Yes those are the 6 needed and yes they only come with the arms. If you do get all new arms, it may be a good idea to get new 48703E and bolts too for camber adjustments as im sure itll be seized.
  15. best to stick with Toyota ones. Look for your local Jemca dealer or TCB parts is a good place to get OEM parts.
  16. The window it self moves very smoothly without slowing down. I cleaned and angled the runners last time I rebuilt the doors and swapped out its internals. But I think were on the rite track as im sure somehow it detects resistance and stops.
  17. Im going to have to find some time to take it all apart to check. Yes the regulator was with the motor. I'm pretty sure theres something in the motor which is warn which is why the one touch doesn't go all the way up like it used to. I'll check the regulator at the same time too when its out. But the motor is also making some resistance noise too which is why I want to change it for a smoother new one.
  18. Ive been through 3 window motors from breakers. Ive decided to get new ones this time. Toyora no longer stocks them and TCB only sells the regulator with no motor. Any ideas where I can get jold of new ones? Maybe a compatible part?
  19. I used a reverse drill bit. set is tonlow speed and itll tap in and pull it out.
  20. lol. And Im itching to rid my diffuser now soni can fit the new one.
