davetrigz
Hi all What does the (I) symbol next to the high beam mean? I had it flash up for a few seconds and then go off again. I thought it was for the handbrake

digs
Is the brake fluid level okay?may have a leak? mine did this when brake fluid was low, came on and off, topping it up sorted it out.
dublet
What they said. The brake fluid reservoir doesn't contain enough liquid to cope with the wearing down of the brake pads completely. So you might be better off double checking those and replacing them if they're a bit thin (just like tyres, they work less effectively as the pad wears down).

As doublet.says, it acts like a pad wear indicator so that would always be my first port of call.
Old Red Celica
Ditto to the above, check pads first. Then top up fluid if pads are OK, IF the level still drops quickly double check for leaks.
