A friends at200 which is now my new project car, so after scrapping mine last yr I'm now back playing with another celica!! It already has my old wheels, trying to fit my old steering wheel along with my old mods which I didn't sell.

I've just repainted both rear quarter panels but as it's from a spray can it will never be the same, all the cans say to use grey primer but when I sanded mine back it showed white primer had been used by Toyota, now in the process of getting 2.5l of 2k instead and going to do the whole car

Hi all What product is good to use to help rejuvenate the rubber door seals? I'm going to be placing some tubing behind the seals on my celica and my brothers mr2 on Sunday and would be good to get the seals softened a bit if possible.

This is what I've used in my engine bay

Halfords do caliper or vht paint but there expensive compared to ebay or other shops!!

I did my calipers with some brush on vht from eBay, did the trick and was marked up for engines, it's like gloss paint so the brush marks dissappear

I've been running mine for nearly a yr without the heat shield or heat wrap, doesn't seem to affect it and runs cooler having the gt4 bonnet

I had my little man in a recaro young sport racer and that fitted in the gen6 with no problems iirc the gen7 has the same rear seats or slightly smaller so it should fit just push it down in to the bucket!!

The recaro young profi for new born, the sport for the next stage also the monza and start also fits, they also make the mclarens so they should also fit, any with a slim base should be ok.

I had a set of blue smd's in mine, they lasted about a week before they all started flickering badly so I've put white xenon bulbs in now and I can see the dials a lot better than with the blue bulbs.

As far as I'm aware it's only the superstrut and the lsd gearbox that are different on the ss111 so the exhaust should fit as they both have the 3sge engine.

I'm 34 and have a g6 ss111, I've always had bikes the last being a kawasaki zx7r ninja and only passed my car test when i was 28, my first car was a ss1 which i got for a bargain and was pointed to this site when getting spare parts off biggy, i had to sell it when the family grew due to the other half moaning about the practicality of the celica and a new born, that didn't last long before I got bored of driving a mondeo and got my current celica which my 3 yr old son loves so we won on that front!! And I'm a self employed skilled labouror

Yeah I've done a quick Google search for gt4 graphics but I'm going to have to try something else as it mainly came up with the castrol decals!! Well I have plenty of time as I have other bits to get sorted first like having the front and rear bumpers painted and fitted along with the new spoiler and other bits I want on the car before I go ahead with it all!!

Cheers guys, I'm planning on having reflective black decals on a black car so they will stand out on a nice day and at night but not be in your face all the time, I was thinking of a rising sun on the roof but mook has said that is hard to get right and doesn't really suit the shape of the g6!! I was also thinking of the celica dragon down the sides but not too sure if that would work well, i could get the head going up the wing and on to the bonnet with the body down the door and rear quarter then the wings would have to go up the front pillar on to the roof obviously missing out the windows.

That does look nice for a g7 lol I'm looking at going subtle with a reflective black on a black car which may get painted with a red metal flake depending on funds, so it won't be in your face but on a nice sunny day it should look stunning

Hi all I'm thinking of having some decals made up by mook and wanted some inspiration and ideas? I was thinking about the rising sun on the roof with one of the rays either going down the front or rear pillar, im also toying with the idea of the celica dragon down each side. Can you post a pic of your decals so I can get some inspiration and ideas please.

Cheers chris fingers crossed then!! Biggy has helped me out in the past but hes not able to this time, looking like its just going to have to wait until I have fully healed.

Cheers skiny, atleast the bodyshop has agreed to sort out the mechanical faults now it just means getting the front bushes done before they will do anything which I cant do for atleast 6 weeks so was hoping a fellow member may be able to help out for some beer tokens!!
